Looking for the ability to be competitive but not so much that my friends bash their heads into the wall. Phage might be removed simply because of the cmc. I really enjoy to keep the curve low. Obvious combos have been excluded, more looking for competitive mechanical fun. For example, low mana cost cards that hold more than 1 key word like Invisible Stalker. Value cards like phyrexian dreadnought.

This list will be edited soon once my tcg cart gets mailed. grabbed a mana drain, mana vault, mana confluence, pact, etc. not to be a bump on a log, but more to stop wincons or people dying to early in the game.
