Mono Green devotion tends to feature a suite of planeswalkers and Storm the Festival in pioneer these days, but I believe a lower-to-the-ground, more aggressive version can still be successful.

Collected Company can build a board out of nowhere and Aspect of Hydra can churn out massive damage thanks to all the green pips on creatures like Old-Growth Troll, Steel Leaf Champion, Werewolf Pack Leader, Garruk's Harbinger and Questing Beast.

Thursday Night Pioneer — 3-0 (1st) — May 20, 2022

Stomped to a first-place finish at Frost Giant's Thursday Pioneer tournament. The deck ran super well, though I'll admit I was fortunate to avoid some scary matchups like Rakdos or Winota. Closed out several games quickly thanks to bursts of damage from Aspect of Hydra.

Match results: Round 1 vs. Esper Control: W, 2-0; Round 2 vs. Mono Red Burn: W, 2-0; Round 3 vs. Azorius Ensoul: W, 2-0.

Additional thought: Kazandu Mammoth, while nice to have as the 23rd land, could probably be dropped for a more relevant creature.
