I run a similar deck and would strongly recommend Scuttling Doom Engine and Generator Servant .

Yeah i was looking at doom engine a little more. Do you just run Generator Servant so you can hit doom engine on turn 3-4?

That's the main purpose of Generator Servant in the deck, I also run 2x Soul of New Phyrexia which can come out turn 4 with haste and trample. The Gen Servant can also be an effective combo with Illusory Angel , by freeing up mana to cast the other spell and giving it haste.

not really a tempo deck, you're 2 for 1ing your self all over the place which is the exact opposite of tempo

Other than Ensoul Artifact on an Ornithopter , or Bident of Thassa , i don't really see any thing else that makes for an easy two for one. And while obivously it is not as tempo as Delver decks I feel like it still follows the basic premise of tempo which is play a threat early and then use your spells, to make it difficult for them to execute their plan.

I think you may have a hard time finding a valid target for all those copies of Ensoul Artifact . Idk how strongly you feel about playing this combination of colors. Me personally. If I was absolutely intent on playing Ornithopter and Ensoul Artifact I would play a Blue/Green combination. Ornithopter + Savage Summoning seems like a good idea. Especially when in conjunction with Ensoul Artifact (the +1/+1 counter stays on the ensouled creature). Kiora's Follower can help in so many ways I'm not even going to bother explaining. Aslo, if you really want to protect your creatures for mid and grind range games, Ranger's Guile Giant Growth Mortal's Ardor and Simic Charm are just a few great ways to protect your creatures and, ( in simic charms case) permanents. Plus Blue/Green has Master Biomancer . Which, in case you don't know, makes all the tokens from Master of Waves a REAL treat. No Scouring Sands or Golgari Charm ing those away.

I would also look for some "off the wall" artifact creatures. Just for the purpose of making your opponent think. Pillar of War could just be the exact card I'm talking about, but you don't play many Auras. Luckily for you. Green has many, many good auras to offer. Alpha Authority Trollhide and Aqueous Form are a few....okay that last one isn't Green, but it's really good and worth a mention.

Additionally. I'f you decide to play green. You'll have the option of the ol' switcheroo sideboard. Playing either the minimum or maximum number of counter and delay spells possible for the first game. The swapping most, or all of them out for the second. Imagine this. First game you decide you want to play a slowerish game. To see exactly what your opponents deck is like. Countering a spell here. Playing an artifact or creature there for a little board presence. Basically tempoing the game to your speed. Then for the second. You can either keep the same strategy. Maybe change a few of the bit hitters out different, maybe slightly smaller, but more versatile hitters. Or just Jack Rabbit yourself to that #2W with all those undercosted and synergistic cards.

I don't mean to try and tell you what to do, but I believe that Izzet artifacts are a dead end. Maybe Khans will make it worth playing, but right now in Standard. The two things a deck must be is Versatile and Consistent. The latter being moar important, imho. Good luck with everything. Maybe I will make the deck I have listed in my head on here sometime. I'll try and post you a link if I do.

Happy Battling!!
