Restore Balance Budget

Sideboard

Enchantment (4)

Artifact (4)

Instant (7)

This deck abuses the interaction between Restore Balance + Cascade spells. All of the Cascade spells will hit Restore Balance since it's the only spell with CC less than 3. This means massive destruction of Creatures and Lands on Turn 2-4.

Borderposts artifacts allow us to destroy all their lands with Restore Balance while keeping mana resources on the table. The opponent will probably bring Artifact hate for Game 2, so the invasion lands are there as a Plan B. With these lands we can cast Restore Balance on Turn 2, leaving the board with only 1 land on each side (or 0 lands if we use any of the Spirit Guides).

Misdirection is there as a replacement for Force of Will (since they are expensive). Misdirection will take care of opponent's countermagic (by changing the target to itelf), it helps against hand disruption, it might protect our permananents from hate (if there are legal targets to redirect) and it will give us a chance on COMBO matchups.

Foil might seem like a bad idea but it's a turn 0 Counterspell, and the card disadvantage is somehow compensated when a Restore Balance resolves. Also, in Mid-Long games Islands will become useless due to the Borderposts so they can be discarded no problem.

Day's Undoing is there to return the copies of Restore Balance to our Library allowing us to cast it more times. It will also refill our hands after a Restore Balance resolves, best used when the opponent has 0 lands and we have at least 3 mana resources. Keep in mind the idea of the deck is to cast Balance. Often and hard.

Lastly, Cliffrunner Behemoth is a 4-Turn clock and since our Borderposts are colored, it has Haste and Lifelink.

::::: Sideboard :::::

Beast Within: Very flexible card. Can hit a combo piece, a fatty, a Planeswalker, a troublesome land, or we can hit one of our lands to give us a creature. All at instant speed!

Culling Scales : It can slow down Aggro a bit, also hits Null Rod / Stony Silence.

Leyline of Sanctity: VS Burn/Combo/Discard.

Firespout: Very good against Aggro. However this slot might be more of a META call. Perhaps something against Graveyards (although Day's Undoing messes with them a little bit).

Suggestions

Updates Add

WinCon: Added Shaman of the Great Hunt replacing Cliffrunner Behemoth. I think it's just a better card.

Sideboard: Added Krosan Grip since our Miracles matchup is horrible. Counterbalance (or Chalice) for 0 stops Restore Balance. Luckily we have 8 sideboard cards against those cards.
