This Deck seems like a modern classic now, but it was very popular and powerful not to long ago. Its fundamental strategy to me is always something that is viable in a meta not totally dominated by unfair super linear decks. Force of Negation is by no means Force of Will but it's the closest we're going to get and I feel like it gave the archetype legs going forward. I also really like Magmatic Sinkhole but not enough to play it over Murderous Cut . Having Fiery Islet is big in a deck where if you flood and can't draw into protection for your threat you're toast. I also really like Brazen Borrower it kinda does a halfway impression of somewhere between Vendilion Clique and Echoing Truth not as good as either but nice in the sideboard I've found. Plague Engineer is better then Izzet Staticaster I dont care what anyone says, it just is. Dragon's Claw is just a nod to how good and prevalent burn is right now.
