With this deck I am trying to make the most out of Khans block cards that were overshadowed by Siege Rhinos and CoCo during their time in Standard.
This deck utilizes the best burn spells available in the format, and the best mono-white control spells. The deck works by stalling out early threats, while slowly dealing a couple damage a turn, before pulling a win out of the air.
Because Frontier is a very creature heavy format, I main board 2 deflecting palms, and 7 removal/lock spells. Against a control deck, this deck will most likely not get far unless it starts with a perfect hand.
Update, Tested 3 battles on Cockitrace [adding more results as I go along]
Round 1: Against G/W/B Allies, Game 1: It was a loosing battle, drew nearly all my creatures, well timed Deflecting Palm and Stoke the Flames with Soulfire Grandmaster helped me stave them off for a while, but ultimately lost. Opponent quit.
Round 2: Mirror U/R prowessGame 1: opponent was mana screwed, early game distruption lead to him conceding turn 4Game 2: I was mana screwed, lost quicklyGame 3: Deflecting Palm and Monastery Mentor helped me pull out a win, however it was close.
Round 3: G/W/B GoodstuffGame 1: victory, early disruption from me, followed by a turn 6 Howl of the Hordes + Exquisite Firecraft for the kill. Opponent quit
Round 4: vs B/U control lifegain AEther Reservoir.Game 1: Lose, mana screwed so side boarded in artifact hate.Game 2: Disrupted artifacts, but drew no creatures. Got opponent to 8 HP, but lost to an 8/8 octopus token (I did not expect it, so I got rid of my creature removal).
Round 5: vs G/W/B GoodstuffGame 1: easy victoryGame 2: Easy victory (Deflecting Palm for the win!)
