I really want to abuse journey to eternity, because it's awesome, and I believe Sultai is the best way to do it.
Merfolk Branchwalker : Fantastic early game threat that synergizes super well with the reanimator strategy.
Yahenni, Undying Partisan : Sac outlet. Also can provide pressure himself if you need him. Can enable loops of reanimation with your best targets.
Champion of Wits : Amazing synergy with feeding the graveyard. It is also one of the very best things to reanimate with a The Scarab God .
Ravenous Chupacabra : Insanely valuable creature. A strictly better Nekrataal .
Hostage Taker : Great creature. Helps take out problematic things like opposing The Scarab God .
The Scarab God : Absolute staple in this deck. If you have the money you might want to take this up to three copies.
Carnage Tyrant : Great reanimation threat. Kills control and is a really good top end.
Razaketh, the Foulblooded : Terrifying to try to deal with for many decks. If he hits the field and isnt removed right away, he will win the game.
Liliana, Death's Majesty : another staple to the deck. Feeds the graveyard, and it can bring something back. Absolutely perfect for this deck.
Journey to Eternity
: Super powerful reanimation spell. It is a pretty rare thing that an enchantment aura gets seriously considered for competitive play, so that should tell you how good it is.
Strategic Planning : Very synergistic and consistent spell that gives you card advantage while feeding your graveyard at the same time.
Blossoming Defense : Like multimedia pointed out to me it is easy to get blown out trying to play a Journey to Eternity
. A lot of the time your creature gets fatal pushed in response to Journey to Eternity
being cast.
Fatal Push : Absolute must have in any black deck in standard.
