I am a little interested about the Negate. Why not run Mana Leak over it? This is a tempo deck, has fast wins, you already are running Remand, so why not be able to counter everything rather than just non-creatures spells?

Just saw you have it in your sideboard, but again why not run the Leak main? And why not run Dispel over Negate? It seems like that would be a better spell over the slower Negate.

Also Spell Snare and Spell Pierce would be good adds.

good points thanks that would shore up a few of the slow problems for the turn 3 and 4 counter areas. ill make the edits now and let me know what you think.

Looks good to me. Just the Shock seems a little weak. If anything, switch it out for two Spell Snare and two Spell Pierce.

Wouldn't x4 Brainstorm be better than Serum Visions? Or Ponder as well?

What are your thoughts on the new Stormchaser Mage? Seems like a good fit. Also, how does 15 lands go with this deck? That seems really low. Also, Gitaxian Probe?

this is how im taking the deck to the regional im going to thus far it has done well getting me 18-4 in testing against many of the top decks the deck im running into the most problems with is the rising eldrazi black. probe is a good cantrip but just a little bit of a life bear as i self burn myself constantly.
