Thanks for the compliment. Never thought about G/B elementals nor do I know what that type of deck entails lol sounds interesting and I hope it works out well for you. Link it here whenever you start or get it done. I would like to see it if you don't mind.

it's me again. been running this masterpiece deck with Zendikar Resurgent also put a couple Swell of Growth since the instants are cycling out. ALSO Second Harvest for the omnath tokens!?!?

Zendikar Resurgent was a tad too slow for me but is a great card to assist with ramp. I also used Swell of Growth extensively and love it before switching to the 4 of Atarka's Command . never tried Second Harvest but seems more like a "win more" kinda deal imo but still carries its weight. Looks like you have a pretty well setup deck.

Thinking of adding 4x Attune with Aether or Traverse the Ulvenwald both about the same one is just almost $2 cheaper lol for much needed ramp and mana fixing since the vast majority of ramp spells are rotating out. Also 3x Collective Defiance to take the place of the Atarka's Command that will no longer be in standard :(((. Giving Natural Connection some thought also but not so sure on it. Added in 2 Blighted Woodland to kinda take the place of the rotating out Explosive Vegetation . Also thinking about swapping the 2 Chandra, Flamecaller for 2 Nissa, Vital Force What do you all think of these changes if I were to implement them all? Any different suggestions to keep this deck standard legal?

Have you play tested the new version at FNM yet?

We lost some good pieces but I really want this deck to work still :/

The new Nissa seems like an auto-include and traverse seems okay.

I don't have any sylvan advocates, what would you recommend as a replacement?

October 3, 2016 11:51 p.m.

Hard to replace a him as a 2 drop. Maybe include Tireless Tracker I'll be testing the new version this week.

Sideboard update, Replaced Natural State with Appetite for the Unnatural . Natural State just isn't cutting the mustard anymore and we need removal for the super gear hulks, bigger vehicles like Skysovereign, Consul Flagship . Gives us a nice life bump too that helps us keep out of lethal range as we set things up. What do you think about it?

Sylvan Advocate is good, but land creatures only come from Nissa. Which you only run two of. I would add either more cards to make land creatures or maybe look for a Sylvan Advocate replacement.

Sylvan Advocate is not in for the land creature buff. Just a solid turn 2 drop to fill in the curve. He's the best green creature in standard and fits in any G/- deck. I wish gruul had land creatures to use with him but it's not his soul purpose. With the available ramp in this deck he'll always be a 4/5 with vigilance shortly after being played and that's more valuable than replacing him because there aren't any land creatures in the deck. Because of that he always pulls removal that saves my other creatures from being hit by it. That in itself is a good enough reason to keep him in the board.

It's a very fun deck to play and watch be played. Haven't had much time to adjust it to what I saw recently in my meta but it's still really great.
