Welcome to my Hydra deck! If there's two thing that I really enjoy in Magic, it's tribal decks with themes and counters of any kind. This Hydra deck does both, and just seems like a lot of fun.

So my goal is to get out some weak Hydras early on, considering I can put down a Hydra with X in it's casting cost for as little as 2 or 3 mana. As early as I can, I'd like to get out an Obelisk of Urd or Gaea's Anthem to put down plenty of 0/0 Hydras. These weak Hydras can then be built up by using instants, sorceries, and their own pumps to add +1/+1 counters to them. Bioshift and Vastwood Hydra let me move around some +1/+1 counters too, which is nice.

Then I have two options: I can protect my horde of Hydras in the mid game and try to stall with my sideboard strategy, OR I can go for the throat and increase my +1/+1 counters and go for broke.

And in the late game, I'll be paying the typical costs for big Hydras and using trample effects to overwhelm with my multi-headed monsters.

Advice is nice. Thanks!!
