Sorcery (1)

This is my brew for a modern Enchantress deck. Essentially, I'm just looking to push this archetype as far as it can get, in the hopes that one needed piece gets printed and I can start windmilling some sweet rogue wins. Any comments and thoughts on the build are more than welcome!

Starting off, let's lay out what the goal of the deck is. Enchantresses are creatures that turn your enchantments into cantrips for value, allowing you to extend in the mid to late game with card advantage. To do this, we're running Eidolon of Blossoms and Satyr Enchanter.

From this point, we can start looking to fill out the lower end of our curve and make some decisions to that effect. Here, I'm looking to get ahead on mana, through Utopia Sprawl and a sweet- if unfortunately vulnerable- Herald of the Pantheon. It can be argued that Courser of Kruphix also helps with this deck's mana, but that's mostly incidental.

Abundant Growth is great color fixing and often a draw two for one mana.

With all this mana and a full grip of cards, we're going to need some payoffs. For this, Sigil of the Empty throne (a pet card of mine) is a sweet pick up, again gaining sweet value from just playing out your spells. Heliod, God of the Sun is also a solid mana sink for those drawn out games where you're not quite getting the ball rolling. Myth Realized, a one of, is something I'm testing out, for similar reasons of a mana sink and value with your deck chalk full of noncreature spells.

Now, all of this is fine and dandy when I'm goldfishing in front of my computer, watching some YouTube and Rooster Teeth videos, but to stand up against the range of decks in the format, we're going to need some interaction. To that end, we're running some proactive enchantments to try and shore up our weak points. Greater Auramancy to protect the permanents, Leyline of Sanctity main board to just win some game ones outright, Ghostly Prison to keep creatures out of the red zone, and Oblivion Ring to get rid of nearly anything.

Kruphix's Insight is exactly the mid/late game refill we're looking for.

The mana is pretty straight forward, with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as a great way to generate the mana needed to play all those sweet enchantments we draw into.

The side board is is very flexible, obviously. The only hard hits we want for sure are the Rest In Peace's, Stony Silences, and I'd argue Gaddock Teeg.

Let me know what you all think!
