Deck looks ill and fun to play. I have this shortlisted along with Land Destruction as the decks to pick up this week.

It was just a test, I put them back in.

Atarka's Command is useless outside of burn.

Insteasd of Dragon Grip I would play Temur Battle Rage. Instant speed Double strike & Trample is a lot more useful than a small buff, and first strike for one more mana. Combine it with Shaman and you get two counters. Roar of Challenge and Heir of the Wilds its a one sided board wipe, and with all the high power creatures, it usually tramples a lot of damage over.

I would sideboard Savage Punch

MAGESTIC_LLAMA: Atarka's Command isn't useless out of burn, nothing of the sort. Dropping a third land turn 2 plus 3 to the face is great for a rampy midrange deck. I do think Savage Punch can be sbed to make room for DTK stuff.

ojmandias: I agree about Temur Battle Rage and will switch it in for Dragon Grip but Roar of Challenge is a bit too conditional, I'll think about it though.

If your casting Atarka's Command t2 it means you missed your Rattleclaw Mystic or Savage Knuckleblade. You shouldn't be missing those, so the command is pointless.

I would sideboard in Roar of Challenge or Mob Rule for decks that have too many creatures that are too big for you to trample through, or have too many blockers. I run a deck similar to this in a casual modern meta though, and those two cards have saved my butt every time I've pulled them. I suppose whether or not you add them depends on your meta.

I'm ferociously modern Playtest

Have you checked out Epic Confrontation? It might be worhpth running to get rid of their weak threats quickly. It also pairs well with Heir of the Wilds

Savage Punch is better because of the ferocious effect. It's a better buff that will nearly always come into play because of all the ferocious triggers.
