After playtesting for a while I decided on this board. I've been testing it on FNMs for the last two weeks and the results surprised me: 2-1-1 on the first day and 1-0-3 on the second day. Thats right, 3 draws.
First day I played against green-white megamorph (draw), mirror match (the one loss), Esper planeswalker control (Win), and black-white Aristocrats (win). I lost to the mirror match because of a wrong sideboard. The Esper and Aristocrats wins were quite easily achieved. The draw against megamorph was because time ran out in the match. If we'd have time to play on I think I might have won that game.
The second test was with a new sideboard- the one shown on TappedOut right now. I played against green-white megamorph (the same as last week). After a great match we drew 1-1. Second match was against Esper control. Another draw. Third game against Jeskai control. That was my one win, due to a
Infinite Obliteration
on his Soulfire Grand Master. Last match was against an Abzan deck. I should have won that match, but at the start of the third game we had 5 minutes left. Because he was a new player I suggested a draw, and he gladly accepted it.
I'm currently quite happy with this deck. It stands a chance against most decks as long as I get my 5 mana to cast Bring to Light. I havent had any mana problems during my games, as long as I think about what to fetch beforehand. Mantis Rider is awesome, and the Siege Rhinos usually finish up the game for me. Having Dragonlord Ojutai makes sure I hit some extra card-draws. Jace is awesome for the draws, but when flipped makes sure I have all my spells available for casting. It's the most fun deck I've played in a long time. I dont think I'll win the Game Day with this deck, but at least I'll have a good shot of getting top8.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated. It's not a budget deck, but I dont want to spend huge amounts on it either. Also, I prefer most of my cards to be retrievable with Bring to Light. Cards like Gideon, Ally of Zendikar are really good, but not for this deck.
