testing out a modern deck that is a take on another classic deck. trying out the spicy kambal because I meet a lot of people who think storm is a fun modern deck and people who want to be able to say they play modern without spending any money (so they play burn) and he seems good verses those people.

if you are wondering why the lingering souls is in the sideboard, that is because while the card is really strong. paying 3 mana for 2 power is very lackluster verses creature decks like humans, I bring them in against modern control decks like UW, Grixis death shadow, and (sometimes) jund.

with the unbanning of stoneforge I can get those in for a more robust win condition. I took out the leonin arbitors because I never felt them do much. I also took out the flickerwisps because I felt a lot of the time they were just big flyers. which was fine but I needed to fit a betterskull in. I also slipped in a heretic cathar and I put a couple of mindcensors in. the wasteland strangers also went because they are very dead verses most decks.
