I was challenged to build a deck around Battle of Wits, so here's the most ridiculous deck i'll probably ever make xD The gameplan is as follows: Get Training Grounds and Izzet Guildmage onto the battle field, so that Guilmage activates for either a or a . Then cast Manamorphose , copy it, and then copy it until you've drawn the rest of the combo pieces, always keeping the original Manamorphose on the stack so you dig for a counterspell if people start to mess with you also remember to add some in the process. you'll then play Shimmer Myr , then flash in Vedalken Orrery so you can cast Rite of Flame at instant speed thanks to Vedalken Orrery, and copy that for unlimited . Then you flash in Gemstone Array for unlimited . at this point you should make sure to still have both the original Manamorphose and Rite of Flame on the stack, just so you have access to them, so you can dig for answers just in case. Then you cast Battle of Wits and Research copying it 50 times with Izzet Guildmage shuffling 200 basis lands into your deck, and finally you finish it all with a Time Warp for the win!

Optionally you can flash in Sundial of the Infinite at some point to end your own turn without even letting the stack resolve for bonus points. You could also preemptively cast a Counterspell targetting the original Manamorphose , and then put a copy of Manamorphose on top of the counterspell. This puts the counterspell on the stack early, and allows you to copy it for later on to counter other stuff.

The rest of the deck is basically just cards that tutor out the 3 key cards: Izzet Guildmage + Manamorphose + Training Grounds , or cheap cantrips that allows you to quickly get through the deck.
