My own take on a Miirym deck. I'm aiming for something a little above budget. May include a section later for additions that may be a little more expensive than I expect to spend.

The new Draconic Destruction Starter Deck provides a decent amount of solid dragon staples. I'll probably slot in the usable cards here to fill out the deck first to make it playable, and upgrade them over time.

Suggestions are welcome.

Ideal setup would have Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm on board with a draw engine such as Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner, or Temur Ascendancy. Playing Ganax, Astral Hunter will create 3 treasures, then 4 treasures for each other dragon played, effectively giving a 4 mana refund for each dragon cast. With a draw engine, this combo can keep pulling more dragons out from the deck. Alternatively, if Kodama of the East Tree is on the board, playing permanents can pull dragons out from your hand. Miirym will create a full token copy of that dragon (including its mana value), where Kodama will see another permanent of said mana value entering and pull out another permanent from your hand. Again, combining with a draw engine will keep pulling out dragons/permanents for a massive board.

Either of these combos with Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, or Warstorm Surge will shoot massive damage at any target.

Possible non-Miirym-related combos:

Playing Astral Dragon with Cursed Mirror on board lets you target the original Astral Dragon with its copies of Cursed Mirror, creating infinite 3/3 flying artifact dragons with haste that could also tap for red. (careful not to deck yourself if you have a draw engine like Elemental Bond)

Savage Ventmaw + Hellkite Charger gives as many combat phases as open mana you have.

Scourge of Valkas + kicked Rite of Replication deals 6 damage x 30 times for 180 total damage.
