This is my Skred Red list that I currently have built in paper. The maybeboard consists both of other cards I've tried when initially building it (Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, for example) and things I think would work well but haven't tested yet (Sweltering Suns instead of or in addition to Anger of the Gods, for instance). I currently have no sideboard, in large part because I don't know enough about the current meta to know what to protect against.
When building the deck I included proxies for Scrying Sheets in various amounts, and had mixed feelings about the card. When I got a snow off the top, it was great, but otherwise it seemed a waste of mana. As I sometimes have a "burn it all" approach to magic anyway, I decided to try out a couple copies of Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle instead. This change came about in part because I was trying to participate in a store event and needed to remove proxies from the deck; I pulled the Valakuts out of another deck but couldn't find among my friends enough Snow-Covered Mountains to make up for the ones I was missing, and ended up sitting out as a result. (I realized later I could have thrown some Snow-Covered Plains instead, and just dealt with a subpar manabase for a single event, but oh well). I've since gotten the missing lands, plus a few, so that I can adjust the number of basics some if needed.
Most of my playing included more copies of Boros Reckoner; I don't recall why I dropped it to two copies, other than just playing with numbers while goldfishing.
I don't think I've played the deck at all since adding Chandra, Torch of Defiance, but I had been pleased with Chandra, Pyromaster's performance and, in my eyes, ToD is even better. I was mostly using Pyromaster for the middle ability, and ToD gives me that ability as a plus! That I can't play a land off her exile might occasionally bite me, but at least I'd get a Shock from it. From there the other abilities are all an improvement on Pyromaster in terms of function within the deck.
The biggest reason this doesn't include Pia and Kiran Nalaar is that the card didn't exist when I was last messing with this deck. I do own several copies, though, but have yet to do any testing with them. The same is true of Goblin Rabblemaster, though I don't know how relevant he is to current modern.
