Sideboard

Maybeboard

Basically a Relentless Rats / Thrumming Stone deck, but more competitive via ways to control the board until that gets online with control Duress, deathouch 1-drops (Typhoid Rats) and removal to keep the board clear until you have 3 mana to either start playing Relentless Rats or get Pack Rats out and making token clones and go big that way. Marrow-Gnawer is a great finisher because it gives all rats fear (can only be blocked by artifact or black creatures) or can be used to make Pack Rat and its clones double in power every turn with it's sacrifice ability (remember that class where they described the power of compounding interest? :D)

Once Thrumming Stone is down, the "ripple 4" effect lets you play a Relentless Rats, then look at the next 4 cards in your library and if you see more Relentless Rats, you get to play them for free, and then that effect is triggered for each one, so it's quite possible to filter your deck that way and put most of the (18) relentless rats from your deck on the board for 3 mana! This pumps any pack rats or relentless rats you already had on the board and they will probably be big enough at that point to swing in for lethal before the rest can attack.

After turn 5 (either with Thrumming Stone/Relentless Rats or Pack Rat/Marrow-Gnawer) you can easily have hundreds of points of power on the board within a couple of turns!

This is an older deck of mine, just wanted to share it here to keep my decks together. Might have to look at some of the newer cards to see how they might fit in. Fatal Push, or possibly a bigger board wipe for fast aggro. Sideboard was tailored to the meta where I play, you may want to change that up for online or your meta.

Have fun!
