did it guys deck 4 - 0'd
Match one 2 - 0 Jund Megamorph
Game one lost roll opponent elected to Play this game was a close one but with him never really resolving a threat i couldn't deal with me resolving Ashiok and stealing a death mist to stop the morph beaters getting through until i landed Narset ticking up a few times finding a Elspeth winning game although he did get me down to 1 life couldnt get through tokens tho.
Sided in 2 Drown took out 2 anticipate.
Match 2 - this match didnt go much better for him me drawing god removal hand blowing out the game with a Aetherspouts and a Bileblights.
Match Two 2 - 1 Sidisi Whip
This game was a little weird.
Game one Opponent mulls to 5 and then proceeded to triple thoughtsieze me turns 1 2 and 3 but a mull to 5 is never good so in the end i got there with Token beats.
Sided in Disdainful Stroke and 1 Radiant Purge side out Ultimate price.
Game two - I mull to 5 then again he proceeded to triple thoughtsieze me game went for a bit but in the end i got beaten.
Game Three - HOLY CRAP WE BOTH KEPT 7. mine was a little shakey 2 lander with double Ashiok ended with me hitting land off top T3 Ashiok into ticking it up 2ce stealing a Dragonlord Silumgar using it to steal Sidisi playing 2nd one and milling him out with Ashiok the star of the show but Archangle kept me in the game for last 3 cards getting me back to 20 life before he had the threats to finish me.
Match Three 2 - 0 Mono Blue Devotion
For the last 3 weeks we have played each other (house mates).
our match up is very much in favour of him due to the Dancers countering my removal package and sweepers but I just had too much removal in the early game kept me ahead
Sideboard pull in 2 Drown and sided out 2 Anticipate
again I had a hand full of removal on a mull and ashiok pushing me too far ahead in the early game to come back from both games were very well played.
Match Four 2 - 1 Abzan Agro
game one I played super strong hit all my removal when I needed it and swept the board at the right time playing a good game well... game two
I sided in Radiant Purge sided out Ultimate Price
well I played like a potato in game two kept a 1 lander scry land with a hand full of 2 mana removal it will be fine right.... right? NOPE never do 1 land hands in control I know this did it anyway and got crushed never even seeing a 2nd land lol.
Game Three played smart again brought so much extra life with a Ashiok (for those agro players out there always go face) ticked up 2ce stole a siege rhino they then proceeded to use death deather to go ham on ashiok pumping it 2ce at once point to finish her off only to lose it to a downfall next turn they did draw alota land what made it had for them in the end me getting there with a ulti on Elspeth hit them for 18.
all in all deck preformed really consistently with some real starts starting to show Narset doing a lot of work with just raw card advantage (when she don't hit 3 lands running) but even then the information is huge and Ojutai's Command doing a lot of work keeping your life total up enough to slam archangel for the look on your opponents face like you just did what now.
I think the stronger part of this deck atm is the Dragon Control decks are running Foul Tongue Invocation even sometimes over downfall what in my head is just wrong but hey that's the deck but that card don't kill walkers and it has enough early removal with some life gain to keep you going vs agro decks.
Will play it again this week see how it goes.
This deck seems to be a mid-step version between the classic Esper Control, and Dragon-Esper Control we are seeing now. It is interesting to see you are still using some old tech cards. And though some of their use is not as effective now as they were, they are still good cards. The choices seem a bit all over the place. That must give an advantage in side boarding.
However, being all over the place comes with some disadvantages as well. This deck looks like it may have a bit of trouble with 2 popular decks (though it should still have the potential to win against them). Aggro and another Dragon-Control deck.
The Dragon Control deck has some advantage on counter magic costing 2 mana. They also run a denser threat ratio in the deck. This gives them an edge. You may want to give that some thought, even if you are lacking a 2nd/3rd Ojutai. Also, instant speed answers to Hexproof Dragons is quite helpful. Your list doesn't have any.
The aggro matchup is easy to mitigate. You already have some life gain tech like Ojutai's Command. I like it. But I feel Archangel is a bit out-dated. I can see why you would keep it around, at least until you move to the Foul-Tongue Invocation line.
With or without a dragon to reveal, I think Dragonlord's Prerogative is superior draw power to Ingenuity. Sure, it costs 1 more mana, but it also nets you a card. I feel the greater card advantage makes it a better option. Personally, if I were only intending to draw 3, I would give up the instant speed in exchange for running Treasure Cruise.
Also, I really stand by 2 Drown in Sorrow mainboard. I know it's not always a popular choice, but losing to aggro game 1 really really stinks. It is the best card at what it does (in this color scheme. Anger of the Gods is better in general).

Hey man you asked for feedback, here I am!
Alright so first things that jumps to me is not playing the full playset of Dig Through Time, the best control card in standard right now. Have you ever won a game without casting DTT? Well I haven't. You want this card every every every single game. The selection it gives in this very spread out standard is incredibly awesomely good!
Some cards in your main seem more like SB cards : Radiant Purge, Last Breath and Ojutai's Command. Maybe it's a FNM meta call?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're trying to be ready to face your worst matchups game 1. Your singleton sideboard ensures you will always have cards to side in for every mathcup too...but how much of them? Your mainboard is unfocused and so is you sideboard, in the end it might play out like a jack of all trades but a master of none...? Maybe.
You need to accept the fact that control will always have a bad matchup against mono-red game 1. Cards such as Radiant Purge, Ojutai's Command and Last Breath are going to be real awkward against many decks!

Thanks so much for feed back and as a result I have refined the deck a lot gone away from just trying to jam dragons in a non dragon deck and gone to an Esper walkers deck the original list went 2 / 2 at FNM beating U/B dragons and Sidisi Whip and lost to Mono Blue and Red Green Dragons (mono blue being my housemate Hopelessly devoted to Blue (4-0 @ FNM!))
So the new list will be up in about 5 and will most likely require a few cards for sideboard but played a few games of testing seeming like a more consistent deck.
I do agree Dig is super strong but I have chosen to keep it at 3 and keep 2 Anticipate to smooth out the early game or find that land drop and Ojutai's Command one word Value even in the control match up I kept that bad boy in never got countered and always netted me a card what was an answer to there threats also vs mono red the 4 life can mean the difference to being out of stoke range or in it even if it only counters a Mardu Scout dashed in for the turn. Do agree with the Radiant Purge moving 2 to side and Last Breath gone.
amongst a lot of friends there is a lot of debate about that one of Jace's I feel its fine dragonlords is stronger but I feel like if I am vs the mono red or abzan agro deck and have been one for one form the start of game this is fine on end of turn 5 to reload where a turn 6 could mean the difference to losing the game also having to main phase card draw even if you can delve 4 cards still makes Cruise slightly worse limiting the answers you can have on turn 6 only testing will tell and where we end up in the meta.
I will keep results and start updating on them so people can get an idea on how its going I have only had 2 games with the new list but so far I do really like it again let me know what you think of the new list I am always happy to receive feedback helps me grow and thanks again :D

Your list looks stronger now, way more focused strategy! I still recommend you go to 4 Digs though!
April 28, 2015 9:15 a.m.
I 2nd the x4 Digs.
I think the Dragontrol evolution from older control decks this format is a positive thing. Though there is nothing wrong with these builds. Just beware, in the mirror matches you may have a lil trouble. Planeswalkers can often be 1 shot by Hexproof Dragons.

Yep and Silumgar, the Drifting Death laughs at elspeth :p

had a hilarious game at FnM vs the U/B dragon deck where I played Elspeth ticked up he stole it with Dragonlord Silumgar ticked it up I cruxed it got it back and ticked it next turn drew a 2nd Elspeth ultied current one played new one won that game the spectators were just like WTF did we just see
April 28, 2015 10:34 p.m.
Dlord Silumgar sure does make some funny situations. My friend got his elspeth stolen, the opponent ticked her up 1 loyalty before ultimate, then my friend kiled silumgar on his turn and ulted elspeth :p
As for me I once stole a dragonlord silumgar with my own dragonlord silumgar and sacked his with the legendary rule xD
April 28, 2015 11:11 p.m.
My favorite was playing Dragonlord Silumgar to take Ugin, stole the ultimate, and used it to play a fresh ugin from my hand.

Aside from mana constraints (which should be compensated for) the only reason to run Crux of Fate over End Hostilities in a 3 color deck like this is if you are running dragons of your own. Otherwise it's just a less efficient board wipe, with G/R slamming down Stormbreath Dragon + Thunderbreak Regent and dragon control decks slamming down Dragonlord Ojutai + Silumgar, the Drifting Death . Yes, Crux of Fate can kill these dragons, but what if you're also staring down a rabblemaster? Or a horde of elspeth tokens? End Hostilities also has the strangeside effect of murdering equipment/bestow/enchant decks.
April 29, 2015 6:42 p.m.
Having double white for end hostilities with only 11 sources can be a hard thing to pull off. Something as important as casting a wrath on curve needs some insurance policy called man sources :p

yeah since changing the mana base I agree with running double Crux but that's why im running Aetherspouts if I am getting rabbled and token'd out then that thing blows them out.
EssTea I added a 4th Dig to side for you lol if its control v control bring that in :P
April 29, 2015 7:27 p.m.
Make your mana base include more white sources then, because that is the challenge of running End Hostilities, from there you can reap the benefits. You're running 2 elspeth, which also requires double white, so I imagine that T5 double white is not astronomically harder than T6 double white. Quite simply, in this meta, I don't Anticipate Crux of Fate being the board wipe you want, if color really was an option, opt for Perilous Vault in place of Crux, which has really spread out uses.

if my mana base includes more white it makes it so much harder to cast Bile Blight and you don't normally cast Elspeth until maybe T9-T15 where you have counter magic to protect her unless you are really behind on board that you need her on T6.
I guess I could run a Vault but I still think Crux is fine the meta hasn't swung that much just yet there will be dragons but currently the red green decks are not currently playing rabble they are more about that ramp and if I can kill there top end then Crux is still fine I believe.

I honestly love the idea of Resolute Archangel. Mono red eats my Esper deck alive so this would be a great card. Everything looks great +1
