Landfall (Standard MTG Deck)

landfall's sorta close to my heart I guess. I want it to be at least able to do ok at fnm. Pulse is for recycling Evolving Wilds, really strong combo there. Plated Crusher is to wrap up games against annoying control players. Only relevant hexproof I could really find in my collection

Got trashed at FNM cause I'm bad. Adding more removal to the mainboard (2x Rabid Bite, 2x Stonefury, 1x Fiery Impulse 1x Fall of the Titans). Also figured I need to speed the deck up. Hydras are cool and all but basically I"m either playing aggro that'll kill me before they're all that relevant or control which will just remove them. Sure my lifegain can stall out aggro to like turn 8 but then I"m probably sitting on 10 life left and they have a bigger board than me, so a hydra isn't gonna be a big change. So I'm gonna take some of the later stuff I'm not big on and swap them for the removal. Also adding Scythe Leopard in. Rolling Thunder, Retreat to Valakut, and Nissa's Renewal is out of both boards. Rolling Thunder's RR is just a little too pricey for it to ever really work out, Fall of the Titans should replace it well. Retreat to Valakut never ends up being relevant, and even though it kills me cause it was made for landfall, Nissa's Renewal gives me some landfall triggers and gains life sure, but by that time I shouldn't really need 3 extra triggers if I have a board state, or if I don't have a board state I need to be working on that instead of ramping me to 9 mana which doesn't really send me anywhere I need to be. Oran-Rief Hydra, Traverse the Ulvenwald, Plated Crusher, and 1x Zendikar's Roil will be going to the sideboard. Traverse is out so I waste less time durdling, Crusher's too slow along with Hydra and Roil. All of these I'll probably sideboard in against slow decks, Crusher against control and Hydra against...something defensive like a combo deck I guess.

Edit: got my hands on a Nissa, Vastwood Seer ^Flip and Atarka's Command so I subbed those in for a Embodiment of Fury and Stonefury
