Crackling Doom helps you to get creatures away which you can't burn. it even helped me against planeswalker likeSarkhan, the Dragonspeaker which you can't get away instantly.

strategy is easy, 12 wheenie creatures to kill your enemy very fast, and the rest is burn in your face.
