it seems like Geralf's Messenger would fit very nicely here, and I found that Altar's Reap worked very well alongside Undying to provide some decent card advantage. I also like Treasured Find for its obvious advantages. I would take out the Grim Backwoods in favour of some GB duals of some sort, Woodland Cemetery works quite well, as do Overgrown Tomb s if you can acquire either. My suggestion for a finisher, though he doesn't exactly fit the theme, would be Desecration Demon he is either swinging for 6 as soon as he's able or he slowly clears their board until he starts swinging for some larger number. Putrefy and/or Abrupt Decay are great GB removal spells as well if you ever find you are looking for more. Nice job, +1 from me.

Sweet. I'm a big fan of Undying as well. For a finisher like what you describe, there's Mortician Beetle . He's not all that great, but he does get bigger on every sac. Unfortunately he won't trigger from Putrefy , Tragic Slip , or Retribution of the Ancients . I actually ran a deck around the Beetle (before Undying was around) and a lot of my removal was stuff like Bone Splinters , Geth's Verdict , Consuming Vapors , Gatekeeper of Malakir , you know anything that says sacrifice. I don't recommend you go that route, as you will have to end up committing to the Beetle too much, which is a bad idea. Instead as a finisher I really like Phyrexian Obliterator , but he may be too black heavy when your color split is almost even. I do like the Desecration Demon suggestion, he's always good. Too bad Undying doesn't stack, because Mikaeus, the Unhallowed would be really funny if it did. He still would be a good finisher for you though since he does give that global buff and he's evasive. He also kills Knight of the Reliquary if it swings at you, which is nice.

Flayer of the Hatebound would be awesome in this deck, and also Moldgraf Monstrosity .

Very nice. +1 worthy.
Here is a complete list of every card in modern I feel you may wish to consider for one reason or another. I'm sure you've already seen most, if not all; but if any of these you have yet to see, here they are.

@AricMcDonald Do enter the graveyard effects trigger with undying?

Yes, they do. Undying operates kind of like when tokens die; they "brush" the graveyard. They go there briefly and then leave, but they do go.

With two amazing creatures that have GGG and BBB in their casting cost, you really should be running Verdant Catacombs , Twilight Mire and Llanowar Wastes so that your mana is always on.
Also, you should try Phyrexian Soulgorger out and see if you like it in the deck. :)

@bkimpland Do you think its worth it to take out Geralf's Messenger and replace it with Phyrexian Soulgorger I feel like BBB is a tough casting cost for a three drop.
As to Verdant Catacombs and Twilight Mire while these would obviously be very good in this deck I am trying to keep costs relatively low. I may not even end up running Temple of Malady because of the cost although Llanowar Wastes may be cheap enough.

Without having every single one of your lands produce B+G, i would probably skip Geralf's Messenger even though it's a workhorse. Phyrexian Soulgorger fits really well in this deck. Probably only as a 2 of in the deck though.
I'd consider Kitchen Finks as well. Even though it doesn't interact with your +1/+1 dependent cards (Retribution and Ooze) it is still an amazing card that interacts with the rest of the deck well.
Speaking of Ooze, i think a couple of Scavenging Ooze would be fantastic in this deck as well. Great two drop and makes use of your creatures again when they finally hit the graveyard.

super awesome deck i just love how it plays out. The first time you suicide an undying and the opponent is like "wtf" then you bring out ooze flux and they cry themselves to sleep

I love undying so much and love your use of Retribution of the Ancients so much that i sketched up a build for a B/R deck that abuses Heartless Summoning's interaction with Geralf, Flayer and Retribution of the Ancients. :D

stuff like Bloodghast and Gravecrawler make great sac fodder that stay around forever

Thanks for looking at my deck! I added 1 gravepact because it fits the theme and flows nicely with the mechanic.I had considered Ooze Flux but it is just too slow for my taste, and focuses more on swarming, while id rather have more removal at hand. Besides, using the retribution only costs a total of 2 mana, being able to use it as early as turn 2. While the Flux costs 6 mana and can be used from turn 5 onwards. By then, i already prefer to cast a Vorapede or a Languish. Also, mine is more stompy oriented, using hasty creatures like Strangleroot Geist and Dreg Mangler in combination with Champion of Lambholt for quick unblockable damage. While yours seems more utility oriented.I really like yours as well, so +1 from me

Have you considered Yahenni, Undying Partisan ? Can play a similar role of Nantuko Husk
May 24, 2017 10:27 a.m.
I need to do some playtesting of both the cards to see how well they work. Husk is in there to be fetched with evolution as a more impactful sac outlet, I can see advantages to both so I'm not sure which will be better.
