Cards:
Bloodsoaked Champion, Hangarback Walker,
Sultai Emissary
, Zulaport Cutthroat, Nantuko Husk, Butcher of the Horde provides the meat of the creature base. Champion, Emissary and Hangarback all provide value as sacrifices while pressuring/establishing early. The others provide punch and free sac outlets while Cutthroat creates value so damage trades are more favorable. Champion can be recurred multiple times a turn with raid to turn mana into value.
Grim Haruspex helps draw. Works well with the sac outlets as a draw spell or as a creature to swing with.
Merciless Executioner adds removal and a creature since I'm usually sacrificing a champion, Emissary or Hangarback. Good tempo play.
Abzan Ascendancy
gives an anthem to an active board state and creates more flying tokens when they inevitably die.
Rally the Ancestors provides massive value either through Haruspex or Cutthroat triggers or by feeding an unblocked husk. Butcher can sac for haste and attack after being recurred. Emissary will leave a manifest behind. Ascendancy will leave 1/1 flyers behind. 2 because 3 can cause bad hands - Duress helps protect vs control.
Abzan Charm
acts as removal, draw, pump spell (creatures off hangarback).
Brutal Hordechief can swing a battle. He gets worse alone so its just 1 and 1 in the side but he's important against wide strategies like morph.
Outpost Siege provides card draw or a 5th Cutthroat for the kill.
I went 4 colors to have access to Butcher and Abzan Ascendancy. I also get Abzan charm and Crackling Doom. Green and Red are only needed as 3 drops or higher which lets me keep 2 land hands often due to the high number of black/colorless 2 or less drops. Double white is needed for the Rally but only mid-late game.
Side:
Crackling Doom is for dragons, Ulamog and any high drop creature strategies.
Duress for control.
Transgress the Mind
good against control, ramp and midrange... may try to fit more in.
Felidar Cub
recursion through Rally while being a 2/2 for 2 with a sac ability. Good value vs hardened scales, ascendancies or quarantine field.
Surge of Righteousness
this is to help against red combat trick decks. I can win most combat through attrition but red decks can go fast enough to slide under.
Utter End is a catch-all. I may swap one for something else.
Sidisi, Undead Vizier is a tool box.
