Standard Showdown: 4-1 finish —Dec. 20, 2016
I took this almost exact list (one Gideon was replaced with Eerie Interlude because I don't have a third Gideon) to Standard Showdown last Saturday. I beat Mardu Reanimator, W/R Vehicles, a Jeskai homebrew, and upset an undefeated (4-0) Jeskai control list in the final round. My only loss was to to Aetherworks Marvel in the second round. Overall, I'm really happy with how the deck played out in the event, and I think the deck won because of its consistency. Thanks to the deck being 2 colors and having tons of draw power, I never had color issues, was almost always able to cast spells on time (There was one game in round 4 I got mana screwed on 3 lands despite drawing a shit ton of cards for some reason though), and I easily dug my way back from removal and board wipes. I won $20 in store credit, plus I got Olivia, Mobilized for War in my showdown pack.
bewarekraken, I played this deck at an FNM first time and went 3-1 for second place. Personally I'm considering cutting the Heron's Grace Champion as I didn't feel like it did much. Thalia put in work though and I definitely want to playset her because she's an immediate target for removal.
I might acquire Avacyn and replace the Champion with her, or I might just move Verdurous Gearhulk to my maindeck. Stitcher's Graft is too situational considering Always Watching is just a 2-of my my deck and the drawbacks are pretty backbreaking.

I run a similar deck and i haven't completely cut out the Champion. I moved it to sideboard against aggro because flashing in for lifegain not only slows them down and keeps them from running you over but a surprise blocker is always great.

However i 100% agree with moving Heron's Grace Champion from the mainboard to the sideboard.

Lone Rider Flip is a personal favorite of mine for the lifelink/ first strike and trample once it flips. gets through those annoying chumps and gains life like a boss.
Gryff's Boon is another value card to deal with people going wide or flyers.

Lordeh, I used to have Lone Rider Flip in the deck but I took it out because I don't have a lot of ways to gain life outside of Blessed Alliance. However, I could see myself working this card back into my 75 sometime in the future.

Lordeh Not enough ways to gain like in the MB to justify lone rider, he is very good but anything with more than one toughness embarrasses it. Liliana just outright kills it without any trouble. That said, Gryff's Boon is definitely value but i'm not sure what card would come out in it's stead, deck is pretty solid as is.

It's similar to a deck I run http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/gw-human-with-a-chance-of-angel/

havent seen anyone mention it, although i may have overlooked it, but i have been having some success with Courageous Outrider. he's not a strict trade out for Collected Company, but he does give some long game. also Heron's Grace Champion and Always Watching and Hanweir Militia Captain Flip are solid additions. ive only had mild success with Hamlet Captain and i almost always board him out before game 2. he's okay. not amazing.

mr_funk Courageous Outrider is expensive for its stats, and I already get that long game effect through mana sinks such as clue tokens and Duskwatch Recruiter Flip. Besides, I've been working quite a few non-human cards in the deck recently to improve it, so Outrider seems less effective.
You should really look at my changelog before making suggestions. I've played with all 3 of your "solid additions" and I've ended up cutting all of them because they can be either useless cards or win-more cards, neither of which I need in my deck.
Heron's Grace Champion is either a very lackluster 3/3 for 4 mana that becomes a simple chump blocker that delays the inevitable loss, or when I cast him, I'm already in a position where I'm winning the game. I cut the champion for Avacyn. I never actually get to cast Always Watching because on turn 3 I'm always in a position where I need to cast an extra creature to advance my board, and losing a turn of advancement to cast this enchantment is not what I need to be doing. If I actually flip Hanweir Militia Captain Flip, it means my boardstate is already impeccable and I'm already winning the game without it. When I'm not in that scenario, it's just a bear and I need better than a bear.

I built this deck but a bad version of it. I hated it so much I started building a now deck and was going to trash it. but now this deck has inspired me to use humans thank you

river_zion I broke even on W/L with my friend's bad version with my only losses being to G/B delirium. I think the reason this deck works so well is because of all the mana sinks I've put into the deck that let me get extra cards. It's actually OK to run extra land and flood out sometimes with this build.

Gideon is stupidly powerful and you should absolutely try mainboarding four. Blessed alliance seems at its best in a defensive deck, and really doesn't help when you're on the attack. Running a whole playset of thalia seems really clunky as she's a legendary.

nikys612 I only own 2 Gideons; currently working on finding someone who will trade me a third. I have it in the side because he only really excels in grindy midrange/control matchups, not so much against aggro.
Blessed Alliance is run here because it's very good against vehicles and decks that like to plop down one big creature and swing with it (control). If I escalate it, I end up ahead in aggro races, which is especially useful if I'm on the draw.
I run the full playset of Thalia because that's how often I want her. She eats removal a lot so I like being able to consistently follow up my opponent's removal spell with another copy of Thalia. If I have Smuggler's Copter out and my opponent doesn't seem likely to remove Thalia, I can always loot away extra copies. Plus the buy-a-box art is too gorgeous to not have 4 of it.

Great deck man, upvoted!
My only considerations would be to cut a Thalia, Heretic Cathar for a third Heron's Grace Champion. Since you're running 24 lands you could even consider Archangel Avacyn Flip though you may feel similar about her as you do with the aforementioned Gideon. If that's the case, as do I.
Since you are running Always Watching, I'm gonna consider Stitcher's Graft. Either way, I think your deck is near perfect. Care to check mine out? Mono-white budget aggro
