Maybeboard

Tuvasa the Sunlit Merfolk tribal deck. This deck still aims to win with combat damage, but is a bit more resilient as it isn't a solely Voltron strategy. It runs a healthy amount of disruption and classic merfolk sneakiness to push damage through.

The deck runs a healthy amount of auras, but doesn't go too hard on the voltron aura strategy - it runs many cantripping auras such as Cartouche of Knowledge and Kenrith's Transformation, or ones with in-built recursion such as Rancor. It also runs a large amount of ramp auras that tie in nicely with merfolk's ability to untap. Spreading Seas is also a nice trick that can disable an opponent's utility land and turn on Islandwalk. Path of Discovery is a nice card that nets you lands and +1/+1 counters, playing into the unblockable theme when you have Herald of Secret Streams out.

There are lots of powerful lands to untap with Arbor Elf, Kiora's Follower and Merrow Reejerey - even if you don't have Gaea's Cradle out, you can stack Wild Growth and Utopia Sprawl onto a land and untap it for value. Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth helps create forests to untap and enchant.

Cards like Heroic Intervention and Faith's Reward and naturally indestructible creatures like Thassa, God of the Sea and Svyelun of Sea and Sky make the deck fairly resilient to removal.
