dentalflosstycoon thanks for all your help.
While i agree with you on most things, there are a few things i think i will keep the same. Definitely soldier over rakdos, i just need to get some. boros elite, i agree and those are cut. tajic and hoplite, im going to leave in. hoplite is brutal with a bunch of creatures out and tajic is amazing with a boros charm and/or brave the elements and/or madcap skills. Thats just not something i can do with sparky, as i need to use up all the mana to play him , then he goes bye bye.
Chained to the rocks, for sure. It's basically everything Wear / Tear does, but better (much, much better.) so i have replaced all wear and tear with chained.
Brave the elements, for sure i need that. added in a playset.
sacred foundry, for sure; as with soldier of pantheon, i just need some. Temple of Triumph , I dont know. The scry is obviously nice, but in a boros, i really dont think i can afford my lands to come in tapped. i am also going to leave in all magma jets, as i dont think i need the extra power.
I do agree I need more land, but I think 23 is too much. i went with 21, 10 plains and 11 mountain.
If you can, let me know what you think of these changes.

dentalflosstycoon whoops, didnt realize that chained only works against creatures. how about i take assemble legion out of my sideboard, take out 1 burning earth and add 3 chained.

2 chained is fine but its only for creatures that white can target and wear / tear beats it, and all the god weapons like whip that make your life hell. So i'd be sideboarding at least 2 wear / tear. Assemble the legion is crucial in side against control, however its not mainboard unless you where naya colors and ramping to get it out fast and running legion's initiative or something.

RedCloud2012 so you think 2x chained, 2x wear, and 2x assemble?

ooh and mizzium mortars mindsparker is a nice creature but there alot of pesky 4/4s right now

I don't know what your meta plays but one thing that's shut me down more times than I'd like is Blood Baron of Vizkopa
, hence why I've started siding Mizzium Mortars
and it also hits Stormbreath Dragon
..
Both of which are immune to Chained to the Rocks
.Another problem with Chained to the Rocks
is the more non-Mountain lands you end up putting in, the more often you will end up with this card in hand and no Mountain
to enchant it with.
As for land, while 20-21 is fine for what you have mainboarded.. When you're siding in Burning Earth and/or Assemble the Legion you can't afford to really wait until turn 7-8 to draw the last land you need, because if they counter you've probably lost the game. Now Temple of Triumph sure it may slow you down a little here and there, but assuming you have a hand with various CMC creatures, you should be able to play around it most of the time, but imo one of the big hurdles an Aggro deck faces is ineffective draws, so scrying stuff away at the expense of 1 mana I think is pretty good.
Just some thoughts :)
I've got 2 decks I'm currently testing at the moment if you'd like to take a look.Bow Before the Sun! & R/w Aggro Brew

I think that the deck is already looking much better, but I do really insist on at least twenty two lands, and though you may think that the scry lands will slow you down, they will help to eliminate dead draws. So it may be better to play around a Temple of Silence and skip out on that fifth land that you don't need to draw on turn three.
The reason that I say CttR is because you will likely need to be getting rid of gods or Desecration Demon with all of the mono blue and black decks floating around now. Blood Baron is also a pain, yes, and you may want to consider Mizzium Mortars against him if he is encountered often enough. I would also really push for a playset of Reckoners; they are simply amazing.

dentalflosstycoon Yeah I agree, I wouldn't run anything less than 22 now.. There's nothing worse than being mana screwed and you can use the temples / Magma Jet to help ensure you don't get flooded, mulligans hurt us more than most :)
And Chained to the Rocks is a really solid card, I'm not saying otherwise.. But as we've both said now I think, it comes down to the Metagame you are playing in, Or you could simple run both? haha

dentalflosstycoon Namron88 alright, thanks for all the help. What do you think then I should take out for the last 2 lands? Also, what should I take out for last boros reckoner when I can get one?
October 29, 2013 6:55 a.m.
Im honestly not sure ive missed most of the conversation I do agree on going to 22 lands and aquiring a 4th recloner is a great idea I still think if you splashed black there are more options for creature removal vs mono blue since it has protection from red in my opion and experience decks built with black do really good and are very versatile wether it is a control or aggro shell plus if you splashed black you get Slaughter Games which is a great way to make the game yours idk why but I almost always build 3 color decks maybe its because I started out with a bant control deck as the first one I built from scratch also remember Abrupt Decay hits chained easy but boros charms will protect all permanents if you want to build this r/w/b look at my build its The dark side is strong in this one it is more control over aggro though

To open three spots, I would remove one Legion's Initiative , and two creatures, whether they be Tajic or the Hoplite, it does not really matter, but they are definitely your weakest creatures in here,m and then you won't find yourself keeping one land hands so often and you'll have an extra threat (the reckoner).

Namron88 alright, thanks.
dentalflosstycoon alright. I think I'll cut the tajic. Thanks! and boros for legions initiative ads soon as I get some

How about Guardian of the Gateless, Angelic Skirmisher, and/or Boros Charm?
November 12, 2013 10:33 p.m.
redben346 i have been considering sunhome for a while. right now, my excess mana user is Truefire Paladin and he seems to work out quite well. however, as i said Sunhome Guildmage is not a bad idea and he might be added in in the future.
Guardian of the Gateless isnt aggro enough for my purposes. obviously, she's a great blocker, but not exaclty fast enough.
the same goes for Angelic Skirmisher ; simply not fast enough but are great in other kinds of decks.
thanks for suggestions and +1, adding sunhome in my maybeboard for now to keep in mind!
November 12, 2013 10:41 p.m.
This is a really cool deck, looks really fun to play, have you thought of Silence or Judge's Familiar for a nice safety cushion against any big threats? Or maybe Frontline Medic ?
November 14, 2013 10:22 p.m.
RedCloud2012 says... #24
He is going brave the elements he dosnt need a medic
November 14, 2013 10:25 p.m.
jjdiddy65 RedCloud2012 yeah brave the lemme ya is my reason for not playin frontline. However, I have given some decent thought to judge and especially silence. Silence is great against control, and it basically shuts down an opponents turn. (You can play silence during their upkeep)
What would you take out in favor for silence or judge?
dentalflosstycoon says... #1
Oh, and on other thing: you should definitely have Chained to the Rocks in your sideboard.
