This deck performed wonderfully.
Before Playing out top 8 I went 2-0-1
Match 1: 2-0: Dimir Control
1-0: Can't quite remember how this went. But I won!
2-0: I was able to sideboard this round(most of my sideboard is meant to combat control decks. He of course got out Ashiok and exiled one of my win conditions in one go, Purphoros, God of the Forge and Assemble the Legion along with a Temple Garden. Needless to say my opponent was ecstatic as he thought he was going to beat me with my own win condition. Luckily enough in my opening hand I drew one of my sideboard cards Pithing Needle I played it next turn, named Ashiok and made him very sad. I then proceeded to win through two Fleecemane Lion and a Sylvan Caryatid
Match 2: 2-0: Mono Black Devotion
1-0: Won this one through sheer board presence and damage. Once I got out Purphoros, God of the Forge and Elspeth, Sun's Champion the game was over.
2-0: Won this one about the same way. Though this time I used Assemble the Legion instead of Elspeth, Sun's Champion.
Match 3: 1-1 Draw: White Weenie
0-1: He beat me pretty bad this go with cards like Frontline Medic and Imposing Sovereign I couldn't block and he maintained a field.
1-1: Sideboarding was super successful here. I put in 3 Silence and 2 Ratchet Bomb with the hopes of slowing him down. It worked. After using two silence and a ratchet bomb to clear his field he just couldn't recover.
After that we decided to draw for some reason lol
Round 1 Finals: 2-0: W/B Control???
1-0: This was a fairly long game with him gaining life through Blood Baron of Vizcopa and me not being able to block until i got out my wurm tokens I was fairly worried. Though once I killed his Desecration Demon and got out plenty of 5/5 wurms I was able to pull it off.
2-0: Another win by way of Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Purphoros, God of the Forge. Though I'm sure the 8/8 voice tokens helped.
Semifinals: 2-1: Mono Blue Devotion (Pro Tour Deck)
1-0: He Did Slow me down in the beginning with his Frostburn Wierds though once I started getting out the 5/5 Wurm Tokens he couldn't keep a field.
1-1: After getting out three frostburn wierd then Thassa, God of the Sea and 2 Master of Waves There was no way i was coming back unless I top decked my Ratchet Bomb
2-1: Had this one in the bag pretty early on. On turn three I put out Ratchet Bomb and dared him to play his Master of Waves lol.
Finals: 2-0: Naya Midrange
1-0: This Match went on for a while. In the end i had 100 life and a field full of 21/21 voice of resurgence tokens and plenty of 5/5 wurms.
2-0: This Match was a little bit sketchier for me. I made the mistake early on of swinging with a 6/6 Wayfaring Temple that he blocked with a Boros Reckoner and killed my Trostani, Selesnya's Voice This was a stupid mistake on my part as I forgot that He could assign all 6 damage :/. Oh well. I still pulled it off with 3 5/5 wurms and a 7/7 wayfaring temple as he neverdid any damage to me and I was at 35 life.
All in All I am very happy with how this deck played. With Purphoros, God of the Forge and Elspeth, Sun's Champion winning me games, I will definitely keep that combo in my deck.
As always, suggestions are welcome as are +1ssssss
