This is an upgraded version of my other martyr life deck. This deck is customized more for my local meta which is very heavy control and burn. I had to give up some of the traditional martyr life cards like Ajani's Pridemate and Squadron Hawk because they ultimately were too easily controlled or fizzled. This version of martyr life will still rely on Martyr of the Sands to sacrifice and explode to at least 15 HPs on turn 2 and bringing you to around 35 HPs and bringing your Serra Ascendants online. Even though this version of martyr life cannot explode for as much burst HPs as the traditional build, this version is meant for a more painful grind and includes a few 1 drop win-cons. Most creatures have lifelink which will help keep your Serra Ascendants online but more importantly, help you get to 40+ HPs and stay there, long enough for you to fling out Felidar Soverign. Also with Vizkopa Guildmage in there, you can now turn your life gain into offensive damage!
