Phyrexian Rebirth would work well in this deck too. A bit expensive but leaves you with a big scary creature at the end.

@conflict In general I have found that phyrexian rebirth is pretty good in commander, but not really situated for modern. In general 6 is too much.
Also, have you tried Gray Merchant of Asphodel? It's a 5 drop, but it usually ends the game when resolving anyway. It is insane with your double black 2 drops, bitterblossom, and also makes running Phyrexian Arena better. Though bob is prob. better than arena... and I totally agree with vincilios.Path to Exile is a bit of a problem for the deck. I still think the soul wardens are weak without any way to abuse them other than tokens, and path is probably a good replacement. And wrath of god also seems kind of strange main board. Creatures are usually present in modern decks, but not all, and its bad against control. You aren't a true control deck because you have a lot of threats, so I think the wraths would probably be better as things like spot removal or proactive creatures. Lastly, the card that gives persist in the board would pretty much always be better as Undying Evil

luke1 Ad Nausiem. Tooth and Nail. Scapeshift. He has eight copies of the key cards and a solid beatdown backup plan. Learn your magic before saying it won't work.

Demon of Death's Gate is arguably better. Comes out much faster, requires fewer creatures, doesn't require mana.

To a certain extent, yes, @YourGod, but with Wrath of God I'm not so bothered about hitting creatures, so I'm using Duress to hit non-creature cards...saves me losing a bit of life.

I'm inclined to agree, YamishiTheWickedOne, but it also takes up a card slot, which I'm not ready for right now. I might just try him out though.

Batwing Brume? Totally waste their turn & get in a few excess damage, across. However, I would not be sour about not taking it; I know for a fact you can chump block all day, for that chip damage.
- 1, by the way, for ingenuity.

Brume isn't bad, I've seen some decks run it. I would say try Intangible Virtue and Honor of the Pure but you're not really a token deck. I saw Orzov token decks a few years back running Champion of the Parish, but you don't run enough humans.
A more serious consideration would be Doomed Traveler. Do any extort cards work for you?

The one that comes to mind is Thrull Parasite due to low cost.

If you're running extort, it should be Blind Obedience for disruptiveness and resistance to removal.

Thanks cplvela0811. I like the look of Brume.I might give him a sideboard spin against tokens.

Why not Viscera Seer? Filter your top deck and no need to wait for the goodwill of your opponent to kill a specific creature.
