10 guildgates. Sounds easy enough, doesn't it?

Now, with the fantastic power of Turbo-fog, it is! Just play some gates, fog up the place, play some more gates, wipe the board, play some gates, and you win!

Fog only when you need to. Gain life only when you need to. Wipe the board only when you need to.

Proud member of the Cheap Deck Club, which can be found here.

Note: This is an extreme budget deck, and is meant only to win with Maze's End. I know Crackling Perimeter is a thing, but I'm not using it. I won't use anything like Crucible of Worlds or Summer Bloom because then it will be too expensive for me.

I will preface this with a simple statement: Land destruction is mean.

Round 1: Soul Sisters 2-1

Round 1 went by okay, nothing unexpected and nothing to terrible. Got by with minimal effort.

Round 2 I lost, only because my opponent killed me the turn before I untapped with 6 mana and could Planar Cleansing. 3 white sources, 2 others untapped, last one tapped. Serra Ascendant is unforgiving. Not having any fogs is bad as well.

Round 3 I won again, minimal effort required.

Round 2: Splinter twin 1-2

Round 1 was... interesting. I had no idea what he was playing, and then he threw down a Bounding Krasis and then plopped a Twin on it the next turn... I fogged as he swung for 21, and Detention Sphereed the Krasis. After that it was a simple matter of fogging and sphere-ing whatever he put out.

Round 2 was... more interesting. He sideboarded out his twin combo and put in Crumble to Dust. I wasn't happy when I found that out. He exiled my Simic gate, making it impossible for me to win.

Round 3 see Round 2.

Round 3: Dark Jeskai 1-2

Round 1 I won, I don't remember much about the game because this was the point in the night where I was getting dehydrated and having a bad headache... I don't think there was much going on except that I won.

Round 2 I lost, at some point he put out a Pearl Lake Ancient and then from there just countered everything I did.

Round 3 I lost, basically Round 2 but I made some stupid mistakes.

Round 4: R/G(?) Tron 0-2

Round 1 I wasted two Detention Spheres on two different Wurmcoil Engines and didn't have anything to get rid of the Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger he put out like turn 5

Round 2 He dropped a turn 3 Karn Liberated, exiled some land. Sphered it for a couple turns, he cast Ulamog again and everything fell apart from there.
