Banishing Light > Revoke Existence . it costs 1 more mana but it handles card type instead of just enchantments/artifacts.

uiuiho12 Thanks for the tip, I do like revoke existence for it's permanence in dealing with those pesky god cards, but it's probably more of a side board then a main stay.

agreed. Deicide is a better version though. as standard is more enchantment focused rather than artifact focused.

I personally like Archangel of Thune better than Unflinching Courage as it can buff every token you have in play whenever you gain life.

Or instead of kiora

Archangel of Thune is a little too mana intensive and would play against the aggressive requirement for a non-midrange/control deck.

Archangel is kinda pricey, and I like Kiora too much for the extra control to take her out. I would consider taking out unflinching courage, but it'd have to be for something with an equally low, or lower, mana cost.

Back to Nature anyone?

Ya that card could definitely cause some problems. I haven't seen anyone using it (yet) at my fnm, but I did already add Ready / Willing to try and counter Supreme Verdict , and threw Boros Charm into the sideboard.

Collective Blessing is a good anthem enchantment that can turn tides.

Seraph of the Masses is an evasive Wayfaring Temple with convoke!

Unflinching Courage or Nylea, God of the Hunt , because Wayfaring Temple + Trample OP!

Finally Chord of Calling , a little expensive (money wise) but still a great way to get what you need. With this deck, convoke makes it all the better.

Collective Blessing is super expensive. don't both with it. Seraph of the Masses costs SOOOO much, not worth the flying. especially when some of the tokens have flying.

Unflinching Courage is not an anthem, therefore not really fitting into the archetype.

Chord of Calling is nice but there is not super-carrying creature that needs to be casted to win.

I agree with pretty much everything uiuiho12 said, most of those cards don't really compliment what this deck is going for. Just mana cost wise Collective Blessing and Seraph of the Masses are to expensive with too little pay off. Chord of Calling is an awesome card, but this deck doesn't really have any finishers. If I'm at the point where I could actually use it effectively and my board isn't already solid, then I've probably lost the game no matter what. I used to run Unflinching Courage , because it allowed me to give Wayfaring Temple trample, but I found it just made him a target and he was constantly removed. I will definitely be considering picking up Nylea, God of the Hunt though!

Rootborn Defenses has more upside than Ready / Willing in this deck. It's also easier to cast. Also, consider Fated Intervention , and Hour of Need .

I like Ready / Willing because it allows me to untap during combat. The Willing half off the card isn't really essential (but not as hard to cast as you might think, since I have 8 possible black mana in here), but the Ready half has way more potential than Rootborn Defenses due to the untap. That being said, I do like Rootborn, and have a couple in my side board just in case.

I'll try out Hour of Need , I could see it as being a useful side board card against decks that run flying, but don't see it as having a place mainboard.

Fated Intervention intrigues me though, I'll have to try that out and see how I like it. My gut says it's kinda mana pricey, but dat scry tho! Thanks for the tips!

Hour of Need is not worth it. you would need to invest more into mana to get it to work, which again, does not fit the token archetype.
