Mono Black devotion.
Always has been my favorite deck build.
This deck uses small creatures with a ton of devotion to build up for a one hit kill with a Gray Merchant of Asphodel later game.The two drop creatures in the deck consist of Pack Rat and Gatekeeper of Malakir. These create problems for the opponent; one that removes the opponent's creatures and one that, if unanswered, can win a game alone. As for three mana creatures, it runs Vampire Nighthawk because of the value of the creature and Geralf's Messenger because of the obvious devotion and utility. The remaining creatures are the finishers. Phyrexian Obliterator is a giant wall. This shuts down the opponent's creature's attacks. Korlash, Heir to Blackblade is a four mana 3/3 at the least. most of the time, this creature will be around a 5/5, and the best part is that it has a regenerate effect! It never leaves unless removed with some sort of removal spell or counter spells. The big hitter late game is Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which can easily end games later in the game.
The only other Permanent in the deck is Whip of Erebos, which is used best to return a Gary to the field, if for some reason it didn't kill off the opponent in the first place.
The Disruption in the deck is a little shaky. Thoughtseize and Dismember are obvious necessities because of their values. For removal, I choose to run Doom Blade and Go for the Throat because they tend to hit all targets in other decks. If there end up being exceptions to these spell in the opponents deck, they can be sided out for better removal. Dash Hopes is value either way cards resolve. Either the opponent takes five to the face, or whatever they were trying to do, doesn't happen.
The manabase is pretty solid. Less budget decks could add Cavern of Souls to prevent the countering of Gary.
