I like that you've built an Assault Formation sub-theme. I'd lean into that as your secondary win condition. Maybe add another copy or the full playset of Assault Formation so it always comes up. In which case I'd recommend Disowned Ancestor as well as he's excellent for stalling as well as this sort of defender damage strategy. By beefing up that aspect of your play, if your control/direct damage plan fails, you've got this to fall back on.

Thank you so much. Ya I think Disowned Ancestor would go well. It would be the defender for the ramp but I could see it working. I think I need to balance some of the spells out but I'll definitely throw in another Assault Formation. I'm trying to hit my win con's but not have an over abundance at the same time.

First off, I highly advise you not to spam deck requests on multiple people's profile (as I saw that you did it as well on Sagarys), because people can get very touchy about that kind of stuff. You can start a deck help thread if you need help on your deck.

Second off, I'll start with my usual question: do you want this to be competitive or pretty casual?

lidlett, I'm not the only one you asked? I feel so used...

Well I only asked you 2 because I admire your decks and the way you explain why you built them the way you did. I apologize for spamming and for any negative emotions I may have caused. I am still new to this site. To answer your question, I want it to be slightly more competitive then casual. Thank you both for the help. Again sorry for spamming the 2 of you.

I forgive you.

No problem :) I'm not really picky about it, but some people are, so just keep that in mind.

Anyways, about the deck. It's going to be hard to make this pretty competitive without going up in budget. If you are willing to, Abrupt Decay and some discard spells would be welcome here. I would also change the mana base a bit. As per what Sagarys said, I would opt for a full set of Assault Formation. Go for the Throat is better than Ultimate Price. I would also take out a few Killing Wave because you run a fair amount of creatures.

I wish I could afford Abrupt Decay. Thank you for the help.I'll switch to Go for the Throat and get 4 of Assault Formation. I honestly miss read Killing Wave and thought it was just for my opponent only. I'll remove them for another removal spell. I guess I should stick to non competitive so I can keep the price low. Really thank you both for the help I have a friend that normally looks over my idea but then he changes them to what he feels is best. So this is a nice change.

Assault Formation is devastating. You'll be happy to have the playset.

I feel like I am missing the control side. I feel like I need more removal. I was thinking Profane Command. I just need more stuff to clear my opponents side to then ramp up a big spell, have the assassins hit, or turn my creatures into big attackers with nothing to block them.

Since your creatures all have high toughness, Bile Blight will help maintain board control. Also, you might want to run Jungle Hollow instead of Evolving Wilds. It's gonna be tapped anyway, might as well heal you and fix your Mana base a little.

Take that back, didn't realize you had so many 3 toughness ones.

Ya that's why I have not thrown in Mutilate. I'll defiantly switch to Jungle Hollow though.

Honestly, you don't need so many defender status creatures... :/

So what would you suggest?
