What's this? A deck with THREE commanders? Yes, that's exactly what it is. This Abzan aggro, fat-bottomed, semi-hate build has three Partner commanders that allow you to choose the best two options for the table. You may want to start the life gain with Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper to get an early start on building up your Aetherflux Reservoir stores, and you might mix that with Tymna the Weaver for some early aggro card draw when you're facing slower decks that may not have much by the way of blockers. Or you may in fact want to get through those early blockers and choose Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa for a little evasion and add Tymna's card draw instead of building up that life total if you don't expect to see much damage coming your way or you're in it for the long game. All three commanders are unique and powerful in their own right, but I generally choose to leave the most powerful one (Tymna) in the 99 and play Sidar Kondo and Ikra Shidiqi 9 out of 10 games.

The deck functions like an old school Doran, the Siege Tower deck but lacks Doran's weakness of being totally dependent on its commander. With Ikra Shidiqi, Doran, and Assault Formation those high toughness creatures all have a reason to show you what they're working with. High power punishing board wipes like Dusk , Fell the Mighty , Retribution of the Meek , and Wave of Reckoning also synergize well with most of the fatties you'll have on the battlefield. I find that it's a much more versatile and adaptive deck than Doran usually finds himself in.
