Drop Marble/Sky/Fire Diamonds and Coldsteel Heart. Add Fellwar Stone , Chrome Mox , Copy Artifact , and Pentad Prism .

Ancestral Knowledge is really good here. Can be used to look up mana rocks early if needed but more importantly stacking/thinning the top 10 will win you the game with a Narset swing.

I'm also a big fan of Mizzix's Mastery and Bonus Round .

Feel free to check out my list for ideas. Feedback, Upvotes, and/or Ideas on any of my decks is appreciated. Narset, American Beauty

Thanks for the tips. This list is EXACTLY what I needed. I also play a 'tier 1' Sisay-Paradox deck and I am very confused as to why Narset isn't considered by most people to be a Tier 1 commander.

bkelly8401 the collective sheeple hive mind will usually hype a few cEDH commanders that all play the same. A deck should be ranked by how many turns it takes to win. IMO rule of thumb is if you can win by turn 4 consistently, with or without people responding to you, then it makes the cut for cEDH.

I don't really care what other people say. I play this deck in cEDH matches and it wins just as much as the rest of them. I hope this helps fill in your gaps on your Narset deck so you can experience what it's like to play with yourself. lol.

Happy brewing.

bkelly8401: tier 1 is reserved for the best of the best. narset can be crazy powerful in casual games, but her color identity isn't the best and she costs 6 mana. in more competitive games, you could be dead before you even drop her.

Sarkhan420X is crazy powerful in high power games and I use it in cEDH league matches. She gets uncounterably cast turn 1-3 and usually wins as soon as she swings. Not at all a casual commander lol.

how are you paying 6 mana on turns 1-3? that'd require a nut draw (if its even possible), and even more luck still to win the turn she swings. just because something "can" happen doesn't mean its likely. although tbh, i'm sure you're mistaken on a ruling somewhere.

Sarkhan420X my deck list has several combinations of fast mana that enables a turn 1 cast with haste. Even more turn 2 cast / swings, and almost always a turn 3 cast and swing. I used to explain it above but I didn't like the wall of text.

This is a really fun deck list that wins consistently by turn 4. Give it a go.

i think you mean "1 combination involving several cards", not "several combinations". again, thats what we call a "nut draw". you have very few "ramp" cards costing 1 or less (which is what casting narset on turn 1 would require). to get 6 mana on turn 1 will require a very specific opening hand and come very near to emptying it. no hand and only a narset on the board? not a favorable board state on any turn. no offense but i dont see this winning turn 4 at all, let alone consistently. even 1v1 thats a stretch. not gonna take the time to proxy what looks bad to begin with. you have 18 total cards that give either an extra turn or an attack. lets say you somehow get super incredibly lucky and reveal all of them with narset over the course of her extra attacks, and somehow every attack is unblocked. 19 x 3 = 57. even with the commander damage rule, that still only eliminates 2 players.

Sarkhan420X you seem like you require step by step instructions because you clearly cannot comprehend anything else. Narset attacks 1 player, and then proceeds to take infinite turns, remove the other players' creatures, and kill them too. You didn't account for mass land destruction so your 18 count is low.

If the game lasts longer than turn 4 you are piloting the deck wrong, which I would expect from a username containing 420.

hankhill it was a toss-up between this and Khalia because I love all three of those creature types but I am a sucker for native hexproof so I went with 'Merica. Thanks!

why do you run Weathered Wayfarer?

October 28, 2019 12:44 p.m.

Skillville says... #23

Elfblooder in more competitive match ups I will never cast Narset unless she is uncounterable. Weathered Wayfarer, Expedition Map, and Long-Term Plans allow me to find Cavern of Souls quickly.

If I have Cavern already I will use it to find a haste land.

Also with 33 lands in the deck it helps if I don't have any lands in hand to play the long game.

Ancestral Knowledge is another option to dig deep early for mana rocks, haste enablers, or Cavern or use it later to set up Narset for a 110% busted turn.

chadsansing Sunbird doesn't really synergize since I am not casting Narset flips from my hand. I'd rather cast one of the game ending spells than a Sunbird. High cmc cards usually get pitched for Chrome Mox or Gemstone Cavern. Kykar doesn't fit the theme. The deck isn't built around breaking his token spam. It would be a creatureless deck if it were not for Weathered Wayfarer (to help get haste lands or Cavern of Souls) or Lavinia to throttle opponents while protecting against free counters.

Last_Laugh 100% going to try this. Thanks.

Good suggestions.
