Skillville Honestly that card is great tho, idk why more decks can't try and abuse it.

SynergyBuild I can't really think of many red commanders that HAS to swing ASAP aside from the red mana on damage dude or the dino. Probably just a niche card, but hey I'll use the F out of it.

It is pretty underutilized. You can use it in anything Voltron or spend only on 2 different creatures and they both get haste. All this while ramping in a color that's not very good at doing it early.

chadsansing Read the card, Narset casts from exile, Sunbirds only says when you cast it from hand.

I'm willing to bet that Narset is 100% the reason Sunbird's Invocation is worded that way too. It'd be an amazing inclusion if not for 'from hand'...

Last_Laugh That's not the case.
If it wasn't like that then each cast off of Sunbirds would then trigger Sunbirds xD
Point is you bet really wrongly, how much was that bet worth?

Lol fair point. Good thing I'm too poor to bet anything besides the time it took admitting I was wrong.

Last_Laugh That seems smart xD
On a serious note, I doubt any card was based around Narset's ability, in fact I doubt play design cares about it since it was never really good in constructed outside of EDH.

Judging by standard's ongoing ban list I would expect several cards "slip through" the design process cough cough Oko.

Skillville It's more R&D doesn't outweigh Hasbro's corporate greed.
WotC knew damn well that the card was pushed to sell sealed product but they rely on the banhammer to correct things now.
They continue to see growth despite several poorly thought out and greedy decisions over the past several years... why would Hasbro have them stop?

Last_Laugh Hasbro recently increased WoTC budget to increase production... no stopping this wave. Commander will get crazy because they print at Vintage power level so expect insanity to ensue. Also, commander is like crack. No matter the product cost or special set people will fork $$$.

Skillville Really like the deck. One question tho, what are you doing when the enemy has blockers?

Burningdragon91 I used to run with Reconnaissance and Nahiri's Machinations but they were both dead cards. With 3 opponents, someone is ALWAYS open or has 1 creature to use any of the single target removal, OR first strike just overrules their blocker. Narset games don't last long. HOWEVER, if they "do," there are 2 creature board wipes to cast to remove what you need: Catastrophe , Cyclonic Rift (also single target), and Cataclysm .
Good question.

spike6556 for sure. You could totally replace any of the $50+ cards with similar things and still have a good time piloting the deck. Post your build sometime and I'll check it out!!

albis They were once in here but I don't like to dilute the deck with too many puzzle pieces. It makes it inefficient. I also don't like to run the same win condition in more than one deck so those are already in others; but great thinking because... I thought that too <3

Skillville I think you forgot to mention how busted Generator Servant is as a creature in that post there ;)
