Welcome to my Pioneer/Historic Rakdos Burn deck! Currently playin this deck in historic on arena but will hopefully be playing in paper pioneer soon. For credit, this deck is based on an old standard deck from /u/GruntMaster6k on r/spikes.

I have built the deck (RIP wildcards) on MTG: Arena and have begun to play test in the play queue and historic ranked best-of-one. Below are some observations I had from the ~8 games I played so far.

This being my first burn deck, I was pleasantly surprised at how quick a lot of games go. A good hand will end the game quickly; I had one turn 4 and two turn 5 kills.

Make sure you count up your potential damage! I lost a close grindy game to a mono white lifegain deck after missing lethal 2 turns earlier ):

I opted to use Chandra, Torch of Defiance (had the mythic wildcards) over Chandra, Fire Artisan and she has been excellent. Her flexibility (primarily the +1’s) have earned her a spot on the roster.

Firebrand Archer has been used in place of Guttersnipe (initially for wildcard reasons) but her cheaper CMC has added a lot of flexibility. Coming in a turn earlier, often allows her to attack in addition to adding value to every non-creature spell played after. At turns 4/5 her cheaper cost is also great to allow us to play both her and an additional spell(s).

On Arena I have used Roil Eruption in place of the Skullcracks, but plan on using card:Lightnings Strike in their instead once I have the wildcards. They have not been bad, but instant speed I feel is better than the option to kick (for a lot of mana too).
