Sideboard

There's always the argument against mill decks about "not affecting draw percentages", this deck primarily utilizes the "mill to land" mechanic guaranteeing that a land will be thrown in the graveyard. And most decks don't have more than 24 lands, thus effectively making their decks have no more than 24 "mill life".

Mindcrank and Duskmantle Guildmage make an infinite combo. Consuming Aberration is a nasty damage dealer with mill to land mechanic. Should be easy to get Avatar of Woe out with as much mill to land as there is, especially with multiple opponents.

Unfortunately, there's not much to be said for mana ramp. Because there's none.

Turn 1: necessary. Altar of the Brood

Turns 2 and 3: necessary turn 2, necessary turn 3. Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank

Turn 4: necessary. Duskmantle Guildmage's 1st ability and put out a land or any permanent for infinite Mill and Infinite Damage to all opponents.

I play casual usually with 3 opponents. Win cons are to mill to death, mill and use Duskmantle Guildmage ability and kill, or to build up creatures that kill.
