Charging Badger is back with a fierce vengeance. He's bigger, badder, and angrier than ever before, and this time he's brought friends. Friends with lots and lots of counters. There's not much of a strategy behind this deck, badgers don't have to think, they just attack.

Avatar of the Resolute is absolutely the biggest reason for this badger's revenge. Badger's best friend, Kalonian Tusker, is dead. Avatar of the Resolute is the perfect card to take it's place. I'm expecting this card to get relatively expensive for a budget deck, so I may have to remove Boon Satyr from this deck in order to keep the price at the badger budget of $15.

I'm a bit worried that focusing on Hardened Scales and +1/+1 counters might make this slower than it should be... but it's worth it for Avatar of the Resolute. It won't be unusual to play him on turn 2 as a 4/3 reach trampler.
