$20 GW aggro Wolvish

Standard GW (Selesnya)

Elshinare

Sideboard

So I decided to try a budget brew and it is extremely budget. Trying it out in a few variations but this is the base.

Made quite a few changes to this deck, the $15 version did ok, but against competitive decks it wasn't even a show. The changes I have made really worked and just for $5 extra it is a good competitive FNM deck, doubt I will be taking it up against a PPTQ or GPT quality deck and going bonkers but, this works for what ever reason.

Some main lessons for this deck if you play it, if you play against a deck with 0 removal (I know right? how many are those?) T1-3 should be Kessig Prowler   Lambholt Pacifist   Waxing Moon in that order, Mind you, waxing moon gives ALL creatures you control trample when you transform the prowler CRAZY GOOD!.

Nature's Way Is REALLY good removal for 2 reasons, first, if you use it to remove something flat out, it works, second let's say you have a 4/4 and Nature's Way a Torrential Gearhulk, you only have to assign 2 damage to kill it then 2 tramples over, because damage is not removed between phases.

A Transformed Tangleclaw Werewolf   and Make a Stand are crazy good sometimes. Especially if you have a Nature's Way in hand before combat.

Cards that were options for this deck were also Ulvenwald Captive  , having ramp that transforms into a 4/6 seems pretty good. Silverstrike was on a list of sideboard options because Immolating Glare +3 life always feels good. Pack Guardian was a choice instead of Tangleclaw simply because if you flood out with it in hand you can always get 6 power on the board just by discarding a land you would be holding onto.

This deck has been fun building and testing out, will be spending 2 more weeks on it and once done, it may go to a shop for their pauper league they do for jr. high and highschool students.

so first round tonight was against RW vehicles...saw 1 creature in 2 games lost both by turn 4 or 5...round 2 again was RW vehicles, this time it was an interactive game, took the round in mainly by curving out t1 kessig prowler t2 lambholt pacifist t3 howlpack resurgence all three games...round 3 was RB aggro and that was in 3 games, again similar curving out except for silverfur partisan turn 3 on the 2 games I won, went extra wide really quick Round 3 was against 4 color flash/midrange lost in three games but only for duskwatch recruiters failing to find any targets, may move those to the side in preference for something else. decklist changed a bit will update by Sunday
