Something super fun you might want to consider:Always Watching and Archangel of Tithes

HezTheGod

love Archangel of Tithes!!! any suggestions for what I should take out?

Always Watching is good, but Spectral Procession is a central part of the deck's win con, so Honor of the Pure is actually better in most cases. thanks tho

If you want a budget competitive deck then do I would do mono green stompy. It's actually put up results. If you want an actual competitive deck, stompy is the way to go. If not, I guess soul sisters is fine.

@bah-bammmm

Thanks for your comment. Actually, I wasn't going for a strictly competitive deck. While I do realize mono green stompy is an option, I wanted to build my own deck from scratch that could hopefully do well at FNM. (Plus MGS isn't really my style).

I do appreciate the advice tho. Take care

Lone Rider  Flip That card is so damn scary in this type of deck.

@ghoul_Legion

Thanks, I've considered Lone Rider  Flip before, any suggestions on what to replace?

2x Blind Obedience without a second thought.Then... not sure.

Honor of the pure maybe, not a big fan of anthems.

Honor of the Pure halves my clock in most cases, so I'm reluctant to replace it. I agree with the obedience tho. I'll test it anyway. Thanks

A tier 1 jund deck would eat this alive.

June 22, 2017 12:35 p.m.

@Snapdisastermage,

from my testing, I'd conclude not, but would u mind linking a deck that would "eat this alive"?

plus I should probably update this anyway, it's been a while.

Not trying to be rude, Your description is just a tad odd. Soul sisters has historically had an awful matchup against Black green midrange decks.

I actually picked up soul sisters as a deck. It's pretty dope. I don't have a budget on my list. I've been playing it in paper and it feels really good.

That deck looks pretty sweet, esp for Pauper. About the Flagstones of Trokair - is it basically a ward against land destruction? or is it more useful for Ghost Quartering your own trokairs and ramping/fixing that way?

it's to make sure you thin out your deck ghost quartering flagstones. it's not ramp at all, it makes sure you draw less lands late game. also it fetches up Mistveil Plains, which is great with looping squadron hawks and preventing mill from control.

Yup

Mistveil and Sqwak have won me games.

It's legit

ohh gotcha. dont think its cheap ($-wise) enough for this deck, but I'll keep it in mind for future decks. I'm an absolute sucker for infinite value loops (which is why I'm a fan of Lands in Legacy)
