Deck I drafted at Heretic Games in San Bruno.
P1P1: Ire Shaman in a weak pack. Got a 3rd pick Ultimate Price. Mostly bounced between red and black in this pack, with a couple white picks.
P2P1: Vulturous Aven over Asssault Formation (I wasn't in green).
P3P1: Flamerush Rider
Match 1: 2-0
Match 2: 2-0
Match 3: 2-1
Match 3 info:
Lost game 1, died to on onboard trick when I was at 7 life and my opponent was swinging at me for 6. Woops failed at math.
Almost lost game 2 because my opponent stopped playing creatures after playing: Blood-Chin Fanatic, Dragon-Scarred Bear, Hand of Silumgar. He then sacrificed his Hand of Silumgar EOT, swung with Fanatic/Bear. I blocked Fanatic with my Battle Brawler and Dragon-Scarred Bear with my Hardened Berserker. He then used his used Crux of Fate to kill: Reckless Imp, Battle Brawler, morphed Ire Shaman, and morphed Stormwing Dragon. So basically traded off 3 for 5, which was rough. I had no reason to play out Ire Shaman/Stormwing Dragon into a ground stall. but I didn't see Crux previously. The game got super grindy, where he started playing out his dudes, and I tried to rebuild my board position. Eventually the game ended when he tried to play Temur Sabertooth and Grim Contest my Ore Sureshot. I had Tail Slash in response.
Game 3, we were low on time, so I kinda YOLO'd. Played Blood-Chin Rager into Hardened Berserker into Vaultbreaker. Then he played Circle of Elders (again) which slowed the game down. Eventually, it went to extra turns. He was at 9 life on extra turn 2. I had morphed Atarka Efreet and Hardened Berserker. He plays out a Hand of Silumgar. next turn, I unmorph Atarka Efreet, ping his Hand of Silumgar for 1, then swing for lethal. GG.
