This deck came from the absolutely savage beating i got from an FNM deck. The deck was played by someone who was going for the mono blue version. it worked to use heavy blue control particularly confirm suspicions to make clues for mechanized production and then part the waterveil so you are locked out of doing anything before the auto win.

I didn't like the mono blue version - being able to use thraben inspector to set off the clue chain and have an early blocker which I don't care if it dies to removal, I get fumigate (good in the creature heavy meta), quarantine field for fighting against gideon, authority of the consuls (anti saheeli), consulate crackdown (to handle the improvise, paradoxical and artifact heavy mardu decks).

Also there is something about the flavour that wins me over. Azorius is always about the rules and laws and Mechanized Production is a card that if proper materials are given to Dovin then he can bring back order and control. it fits so nicely I wish this deck had space for 2 of Dovin.
