Sideboard

This is a modern black devotion deck. It's fairly budget friendly and actually way more competitive than I thought it would be. The idea here is to play super efficient and evasive 4 drop creatures such as Phyrexian Obliterator and Desecration Demon while keeping the board clear for them with discard spells and Mutilate. Easy deck to play. Lots of fun. Especially when your opponent thinks he has your creatures in check and you drop a Gray Merchant of Asphodel on him.

One thing about the creatures in this deck. They don't die to Abrupt Decay or Lightning Bolt so you don't have to worry about pulling those with your discard spells. Just drop four mana and roll out!

Issues:Biggest issue I run into is suboptimal draws. Sign in Blood can save you hereBut sometimes you run into two swamps. I've implemented Raven's Crime to help with this since after you have 5 swamps more land is basically useless. You don't want your fatties dying to Mutilate. I've tried Phyrexian Arena but it is too slow. I would like some card filtering if anyone has suggestions. And don't say Pack Rat also too slow and dies to Mutilate

Sideboard stuff:Leyline of the Void for junk, delve, gifts, reanimation stuff.Illness in the Ranks so good against twin! And tokens obviouslyNight of Souls' Betrayal useful sometimes against affinity, tokens, ur aggro, and podless decksBitterblossom not a great fit but can help you stay alive early against affinity and Lingering SoulsDoom Blade where more removal is neededHero's Downfall because Liliana of the Veil is a real threatRatchet Bomb you think it will save you but it never does. Still provides some confidence somehow
