DX5 - I've tried Keranos, The consistent problem with him is that he doesn't do anything for me right away. Jace I can at least start drawing or milling, but to play Keranos and likely not be able to play a counterspell the next turn (unless I'm sitting on 9 mana) gives my opponent a window that I don't like them to have.

I'm just curious on how you classify this as "competitive"

Perhaps it was a bit more relevant before Pod was banned. But it absolutely destroyed Pod/Twin decks and post sideboard could deal with most anything. A lot of the deck matchups are in the various updates.

My biggest question here is if you already have the mana base tweaked to be resilient to Blood Moon.......why the hell no Blood Moon???

Soooo when they successfully Terminate or Path to Exile Ob Nixilis, the Fallen, then what? With 26 lands why not add a set of Creeping Tar Pits?
