This deck looks solid and fun as hell to play. Have you considered Ram Through? You have enough infect creatures where this should be a way to kill someone at instant speed, I've been running it in kamahl for quite awhile and it's been amazing.

Great deck! I have to warn you, Doubling Season does not affect poison counters, since it only affects permanents you control! My recommendation for this deck would instead be Champion of Lambholt. Making your whole team unblockable would make your opponents go from 0 to 10 really easy. Vorinclex doubles the counters it gets per creature entering, so it'll get there quickly.

It is rough, Doubling Season is almost the perfect card for this deck haha. Looks like Champion was pretty good in your first round of playtests, I hope it serves you well in other games!

forneyt I appreciate the point you made as it is a tale as old as time since Vorinclex has been in edh; in fact in a Maldhound short just recently I had to express this very same debate- it only operates the way you want with Planeswalkers (inb4, the purposes of my deck uses it as a buff for Planeswalkers the way Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider would).

Plaguemaw Beast would be another steady source for proliferating.

KayneMarco I would agree, if I could capitalize with Awaken the Woods within the list as well, I could create a good source of fodder. Otherwise, my bodies are kind of important.

Once you give opponents even one poison counter you would only need to sac 9 creatures to kill them. Half that if you have Vorinclex out.

FinchusManus I'm curious about the folder you added my deck to. Can you elaborate?

I made a folder for other peoples' decks that they made, when I put pre-con, I meant it in that I don't have to do any editing, sorry for the confusion!

Deserted Temple you have some good utility

Dust Bowl useful in the late game in a deck full of basic lands

Genesis strong alongside Survival

Anduril, Narsil Reforged deserves a spot. The Ozolith is another amazing card for +1+1 counters.

Awesome deck! I love infect in commander. This looks super fun the play, and I like the Vorthos vibes.

I know you have done a few revisions, and this might seem an obvious choice that was cut in the past. But you have several big trampling fatties that would be awesome equipped with Grafted Exoskeleton. Was that ever in your decklist?

It might be a bit slow for the build you've got, but I like that it gives you some insurance that you'll have an infect creature on board.

NoSoyYucateco thank you for the feedback! Yes, this list is now a bit more used and developed than other concepts I'm working on, and has become one of if not my very most favorite construction. Vorinclex is easily one of my favorite Magic characters. And the deck itself has grown and changed over time. Grafted Exoskeleton, while powerful and useful in a 1v1 setting where Math really is for blockers, becomes less useful in a 4 player pods when you are more subject to removal, counterspells, etc. So risking a beefy body for the instance of getting ganked, because Exo could be blown up and for the opponents it's a two-for-one in their favor.
