Step 1: Change Colonnades into more useful lands for your deck.
Step 2: Up your land count. 21 is even maybe too little for Soul Sisters, which has an incredibly low curve.
Step 3: Pact of Negation is not very good when it's not in convoluted combo decks. Twin is not convoluted.
Step 4: Boros Charm is dumb to put in a Twin deck. You protect your guys with counterspells.

Since you're splashing white, why not give the white splinter twin friend?
Midnight Guard would fit perfectly

marutoken I suppose I could, but what would be the benefit? I already have six targets for Splinter Twin running any more would seem to limit my options with other control/removal elements.
Thanks for the suggestion though!

Thanks for the suggestion... But not sure I need additional targets for ST. While the extra toughness over Pestermite is nice... I prefer to be able to tap an opponent's permanent to prevent counter of combo.

I agree about the Midnight Guard. Something that gives your creatures -1/-1 would kill your strategy.

Eh...effects like that have been a known sideboard tech against Twin for some time. You either counter it, or remove it before comboing out.

Dragonlord Ojutai? It's a fun card for Jeskai Twin because you can use your Pestermite,Deceiver Exarch to give it hexproof at instant speed.

Also, splash green for Tarmogoyf? It's just soooo good!!

Probably needs more fetch and less Celestial Colonnade. Maybe more total lands. More Islands would be the way to go.

Hey bigguy99 Colonnade is there really as the backup beatdown plan. 3 basic Islands seems to be enough as the only card I have that runs 3 is Cryptic Command and even then we're only talking about 2 of them in the deck. Since I am more concerned with nailing the combo and doing it early rather than holding the combo up and going with Plan A as the beatdown (as U/R and Grixis Twin tend to do) I am comfortable with less land and more card draw.

Village Bellringer and Midnight Guard are sooooooo awful. I am super glad that you have not chosen to go that route. Just because a creature works with the combo, doesn't mean it should be used. The Bellringer can't tap your opponent's lands; The Midnight Guard can't either, AND is at sorcery speed. I don't know why people think that using either of them is a good idea. I love your list though, and I'm glad you see it the same way :P

I disagree, Tapping lands is marginal compared to dying to Lighting Bolt like Pestermite.
This list is a lil' wonky, Wonky isn't bad, just wonky...

You generally just play around untapped Mountains. If not, run 4 Exarchs and 2 Mites, depending on your list. Tempo builds generally prefer using 4 Mites anyways, since they generally don't care if they get bolted. Red is 1 of 5 colors. Which creature is better against the other 4?

I suggest you familiarise yourself with the format before making such bold claims.
I also suggest you examine this deck quite carefully, Pact of Negation leads me to believe that he is focused on comboing out. Given this information one can safely assume that the creatures resiliency against a majority of the decks in the format is more important than its ability to attack for two. I do not think a combo focused gameplan is particularly effective so don't comment on how it isn't how Twin should be played or whatnot, This is not my deck and have already stated that it is wonky.
The decks that don't play red don't care what you are doing for the most part, See Bloom, Bogles and Junk.

No need to get so offended. I entirely agree with every other point you've made. I just personally have had bad experiences with Bellringer. It seems that I'm not the only one as many other players have had negative results with it as well. Including Luis-Scott Vargas, who seemed to detest it, preferring Pestermite by a rather large margin.

My apoligies, Given past experiences when helping people with their decks you get some crude replies. My fuse was short tonight.
LSVs deck was Plan A Control and Plan B combo if I recall correctly, This difference dictates how the deck is built.

Personally, that's how I like to play as well.. (albeit, a tad more on the Tempo side over Control) ;P
I love your UWR Control list by the way. If Splinter Twin ever gets banned (highly unlikely, but you know, if), I'd definitely be taking some inspiration from it.

Imagine how happy you would be if it was better.
