Sideboard

Hello, This is my homebrew of an UG Tempo deck. I've been playing Magic on and off since Core Set 7, but recently got back into standard at the beginning of M15. this is my first tapped out deck being typed out. so I hope you guys enjoy!!

Gameplan: To stay ahead of your opponent and out-tempo-ing them to victory by any means necessary. Using recursion tactics, great tempo swings with send to sleep and building up towards kiora's ult. Or curving out into a flashed in krasis, into Surrak, into icefall for a lethal curve out.

The deck was built for flexibility. It can play the controlly game rather well, but can switch to aggro on a dime. The decks main strength is understanding how other decks play so you can plan accordingly with your plays. Knowing is half the battle.

Honored Hierarch- He is an AMAZING tempo play with this deck. Great T1 drop, T2, you can keep clash mana or spell mana up, and swing then potentially T3 drop kiora, or hold him up as an attacker while keeping mana up for a krasis flash. Offers a ton of flexibility.

Den Protector- Self Explanitory. recursion tool that fetches cards discarded by Kiora, and brings back deathmists.

Bounding Krasis- the decks main tool. Can be used at EOT to tap another players casted creature. Can blank a creature from attacking, or can offer surprise blocks by flashing in after attack step, untap and double block with him or another creature. Also, opens up a T3 flash krasis into Surrak T4 for 8 damage uncontested.

Deathmist raptor- Annoying card to deal with. Deathtouch manages the field, and comes back throughout the game. Easy discard fodder with Kiora.

Surrak, the hunt-Caller- this dude is a beast. With the way the deck functions, is very easy to proc Formidable and get the hasty beat down. Big beater and needs to be dealt with.

IceFall regent- Used for tapping down creatures with an evasive body with a built in tool for survivability. Good for helping to control the field.

World Breaker- New edition that has yet to be tested. 5/7 Body that comes with a free naturalize or land destruction and has reach has serious potential. will provide more feedback after more testing.

Clash- Premier counter Spell

Reality shift- good for dealing with anything to big for you to wanna deal with.

Send to Sleep- Underrated card. this card can blank attacks, keep your opponent controlled for that 1-2 turns you need to win the game.

Kiora- Main draw engine/Win-con. Getting her ultimate off is basically GG I WIN. But her other abilities provide tempo advantages at all times.

Crush of Tentacles- New edition. Added for that needed board bounce when behind. will provide more feedback.

Sideboard:

Gaea's revenge/Final Word- both used for destroying control decks. Both insanely powerful cards that cant be targeted or countered.

disdainful stroke- Useful against Abzan or any other midrange deck.

Send to sleep- 4th in SB against decks that go wide.

Negate- vs. control/Jeskai/Burn decks.

Winds of qal sisma- Very effective against the RG Landfall decks, and a surprise tactic against abzan for negating damage with Ferocious proc. Gives you the turn you need to blow an opponent out while they swing for lethal.

Disperse- Great against those Aristocrat decks that run Nantuko Husk and great against RG landfall. Nothing more satisying then the opponent trashing their field to nantuko, only to have the creature bounced after their whole field is sacc'd ir bouncing a double buffed creature in RG landfall. amazing tempo play if used right.

I would like everyone's feedback on this. Let me know what you think!!!
