Competitive Golgari Standard:

Thoughts: Beastcaller Savant has immediate value with haste. vs Channeler Initiate which only has limited uses but becomes a threat with use. I might actually be leaning towards Channeler Initiate

Exert Champion of Rhonas to play any of the creatures and benefit from their ETB effects and the fact that there are many huge threats.

Exert Champion of Rhonas to throw out Verdurous Gearhulks and add counters to creatures.

Exert Champion of Rhonas to throw out Noxious Gearhulk for removal if Fatal Push is not an option.

Exert Champion of Rhonas to play Thought-Knot Seer to remove any threats from your oponnents hand.

Use Eldritch Evolution to sacrifice creatures and search for better ones.

Early Game is a little slow but the mana dorks could gain value from Rishkar, Peema Renegade in the early game. If the early game is an issue then Channeler Initiate is probably a better pick then Beastcaller Savant as it becomes less useless with usage.
