it looks like youre only splashing black for 2 bobs in the main and 2 cards in the side. is it really worth it at this point?

Norin is my favorite card ever...

Makes me feel bad that I accidently left his own EDH deck behind when I visited a college...

What a shame, man. I feel ya. Norin the Wary is my favorite card in magic as well. I would be heart broken to lose my deck. I find this to be such a fun deck with all the synergistic aspects of it that go along with Norin. You have so many options, you never know what to expect.

Versus control decks: Proclamation of Rebirth or Return to the Ranks in sideboard? PoR forecast ability would be great vs decks with a lot of removal and counters that run into late game. Return is great for a surprise field flood burst. Thoughts?

I know. I'm still debating it, so many sideboard options. Red/White is so much more consistent, though, and with a much stronger Blood Moon play.

Maybe drop some life gain and go to 4 Lightning Berserker? Dashing it in with Impact Tremors

I don't think that's a good idea, man. Lightning Berserker is awesome, but for this deck I really don't need to have multiple. The life gain is also very important vs aggro, some combo decks and even certain control decks. Allowing me to consistly out sustain them. Thank you for the comment, though! I appreciate the input! Anything else you'd like to add?

Maybe add Lightning Helix in place of some of the creature life gain then? I'm a pretty aggro player so it's all opinion, but I would be concerned if having too much life gain creatures in my hand some games and being stuck in a small standstill giving your opponent more time to hit a win con

I would highly suggest Militia Bugler great value. Refills hand on a not terrible body. Grabs just about every creature in your deck.

@ABlindOrph4n I really don't think that would be a beneficial change, but as you said, everyone has their own opinions and preferences. Sure Lightning Helix is a great card, I used to use it in my American Control, but I need creatures that have interactions with Norin the Wary and the other creatures in the deck, which helix does not, really. I really do appreciate the comments, though. Thanks for offering me help!

@emask Thanks! Norin has so many synergies. It's such an enjoyable deck to play for me. So many different options.

@aholder7 Yeah, I've been thinking abut Militia Bugler. It has a better body than Mentor of the Meek, vigilance and you always get the benefit as soon as it enters. With Mentor, the card advantage can possibly be overwhelmingly high, but you have to have other creatures and you have to pay for it. What do you think about 1-2xMilitia Bugler and 1x Mentor of the Meek? I feel like Mentor is way too strong to remove.

I play a different version of norin sisters and my friend plays mono white sisters.

In my opinion 4 of bugler has been one of the strongest updates both decks have seen. Bugler is never a bad play in just about any board state. I’ve never been in a situation where I played bugler and went “man I really NEEDED this to be a mentor” but you run into situations where the mentor NEEDS to be a bugler.

Go 4 bugler and don’t look back. You don’t have to cut mentor if you really don’t want to. But I’d suggest cutting something else because I believe you should have bugler.
